"They were amazing!!! Quick and clear communication, had my job scheduled within two weeks of calling them, did it in half a day and did a great job. In fact my neighbor saw the truck outside and hired them to fix an outdoor lighting problem they had. They were just as happy as well. Great company and Scott is a great guy!!!"

"Service was done correctly the first time. I would call them again. I felt the price was a bit expensive but it is something I can't do myself so worth the money to get the job done right the first time. <br />"

"Update:  I spoke with the owner of AES.  There were a few misunderstandings that may have caused me to be a little more harsh on these ratings and review than I should have.  The light was apparently left out so we could use it to shop for a replacement, and the timer switch was not included on the work order, so he was unaware of the need to do that work.  I was assured that the unattached panel cover was a mistake that isn't typical.  The price was fair given that he did make a trip and performed some labor in diagnosing exactly where the short was (in the lamp rather than the line).  It's just frustrating having to pay for service when there is no progress made on the actual problem.  I have decided to take the time to make these repairs myself, but if I needed a professional in the future, I would consider AES again. <br /> <br /> <br /> First, the good:  AES was very responsive in setting up the appointment.  The called me immediately and set up an appointment just over a week from my initial request.  The technician showed up promptly when they said he would.   <br /> The rest was not so good: When he took out the light and checked the circuit, he told us that there was a short in the circuit at the lamp and that we'd need a replacement lamp since they can't be repaired.  I'd already known about the short and if I'd known about needing a replacement, I wouldn't have asked him to come out in the first place.  I can't fault him terribly for not being at all helpful since he still had to make the service call, but I did take exception to the fact he left the lamp removed and in pieces just sitting on the pool deck when he left.  Additionally, when I saw the electrical panel, I realized that he left the cover completely removed with dangerous connections exposed to the room.  I was comfortable in replacing it myself, but many people might not have been.  I'm also still looking for a couple of screws which I needed to fasten the cover over the breakers.  Also, since the service call, we've had a leak in the pool.  While I have no way to know if the leak was caused by his actions, the timing in rather coincidental.  I'll know more once we have the leak source identified.   <br /> As for the panel with the timers, we were told that he didn't have the tools necessary to install the panel, but we could always call to set up another service call for him to do that another time (which of course would include more charges.) So, for coming out and telling me what I already knew, leaving a mess for me to clean up, possibly causing a leak, I was charged $150.  I realize that they have to charge for any service call whether they do anything or not, but leaving everything dismantled when he left was unacceptable.  Next time, I'll know to call someone else - probably a pool professional - which I now know I should have done the first time.  It seems that some general electricians aren't really qualified to to electrical pool work. <br /> <br /> (please see update above)"

"I contacted Water Works to find and repair the leak in my rock waterfall. Brian was prompt and helpful. Although he didn't do the work himself, he reviewed what I needed and a informed his staff. There was a slight misunderstanding on the quote as not all the work we anticipated was necessary and he requested all our contact be via text or phone. We compromised due to the misunderstanding. The leak was tricky to diagnose and his son came out several times to make adjustments without additional charge. Overall I'm very pleased! My waterfall is working and looking great for less money than I wasted on it with another contractor last year. I highly recommend Water Works."

"We moved into our home back in August, 2015. With it being new construction we decided to have the builder seed the backyard….big mistake in the red clay of the South, so of course it didn’t take. We knew it would take a lot of work after waiting almost a year a half to fix our red clay mud pit of a backyard. So we began the process at the beginning of this year in searching for landscapers who could re-grade, install new drainage for all gutter drains on the back of the house, and sod our fenced in backyard. I contacted company after company to get quotes on what it would cost to landscape our 10,000+sqft backyard. Sunrise Landscapes was recommended to us in the midst of all my searching so I called and made an appointment for them to look at our desert of a backyard(what my husband referred to it as) and quote us on the work that needed to be done. When Brian, the owner, came out he was professional and very kind mannered. You could tell he really knew his stuff and was serious about everything as he analyzed the yard, asked questions, and told us what should be done and how he would do it for us. Sunrise Landscapes were very reasonably priced for the work that was to be done (we knew this would be expensive) and decided to go with them. Let me tell you, we have not regretted the decision once!! I work from home some during the week and what I saw amazed me. These were some of the hardest working men I have ever seen! Brian worked just as hard and long as his employees did which surprised me. I expected him to come in and tell his employees what we had discussed then leave to head to another job but he didn’t, he went right to work alongside them and worked just as hard!! This not only impressed my husband and me, it left a big impression on us as to how committed Brian was to delivering quality work! They got there on a Monday to begin grading the backyard and didn’t leave till almost 7:00pm that night. That day they were able to grade, remove 3 truckloads of gravel (what used to be our driveway when the builder was building the house), and begin on the drainage, it was only Brian and one of his employees on that day. The next day Brian and two of his employees arrived around 7:30am and got right to work on finishing the pop-up drains on the back of the house, and began unloading the sod from the tractor trailer. They didn’t leave until close to 7:30pm that Tuesday night after all the sod had been laid (20 Pallets!!), driveway washed off, street cleaned of any debris from the sod, and all of their stuff collected. Brian and his crew stayed on task and completed that job in two days right before it was due to rain the next day, he had impeccable timing with all of it! If you have never laid sod nor seen how it is done, all I have to say is I have a new found respect for those who can do this all day and still stand up and move the next day! After the job was completed Brian would occasionally follow up with us to make sure all was well with the yard, and to see if we have had any questions, that kind of customer service was greatly appreciated!! We will definitely be using Sunrise Landscapes again when we need more yard work or our fence moved. We highly recommend using them for your landscaping needs!! We have not been able to stop telling people about Sunrise Landscapes and handing out Brian’s name and phone number! (*Pictures are from before to after…walkway we installed ourselves*)"
