I just asked him to cut the tree into manageable sections and leave it for me so that I could re-purpose the wood. He did exactly what I asked for and was communicative throughout the process from estimate to performing the work. Would definitely use this company again."

"I contacted five tree removal services for estimates. Richard's Tree Care was the only one who has yet to provide me with an estimate. I do not know what the problem is. I initially attempted to establish an appointment by using the online form on their website. After three or four days of not hearing from them, I decided to contact them by telephone. I did get hold of someone and set up an appointment. The guy came out. Took my list of what was to be done. We went around the yard discussing each tree. At the end, he said he would email me the estimate. I asked if he had my email address. He assured me that the office had it and my telephone number. I waited five days; emailed the office, and still have not heard from them. But, I had to move on. I believe that I gave them ample time to respond, but they chose not to or their communication system is not operating properly. Don't know. Don't care at this point."

"So Ted and his guys came out the next 2 days (Thursday & Friday) and performed all work to my satisfaction; cut them into logs so I can split later for my wood stove; and they thoroughly cleaned up site (only logs and saw dust left over on ground).  There were also some dead branches in a nearby tree close to the one by garage and he trimmed at no additional charge.

Everything was done in a professional manner and more than I expected.

My next door neighbor was interested and I told him what was being done.  So as a result he had Abba Chief T.S. cut 2 dying trees as well.

My wife and I are very happy with Abba Chief Tree Services and would highly recommend them to anyone needing such services.  You will not be disappointed.  Ted and his wife are very nice people to deal with.

"I was amazed that Bryron the son called me the same day of my inquiry which happened over a holiday weekend. The workers could not have been so fast, cheerful and polite on a very hot day than any other company I worked with. Our yard had been neglected we had trees and shrubs hanging over the gutters and stubborn weeds. "I have used Freestate Tree Service before, as they always do a great job. This experience was not different. I had to have a dying Tree of Heaven (Ailanthus altissima) removed, approximately 30 feet tall. They promptly responded to my initial e-mail to have them come out and check to see if the tree was able to be saved (it wasn't, which was no surprise) and e-mailed an estimate the next day. The other two companies (one wasn't able to get someone out to look at the tree until 2 weeks from my e-mail) and the one that did stop by gave an over-the-phone quote that was significantly higher. The Freestate guys showed up bright and early to start cutting away at the tree. They always seem to do quite a lot of work in a rather short amount of time. By the afternoon the tree was gone and they were cleaning up."
