"Myself and my father has used MJA Contracting for two roofs in our houses in Jersey City. Both times Manuel and his team has taken good care of us and installed good roofs. At first I thought the price was a bit high but after I saw the amount of time, material, and workmanship that they completed I thought the price was very fair. Roofs are alot of work as I learned. What I especially liked about Manuel is he did not go cheap and install a torch down rubber roof. He installed a rubber EPDM roof instead. If you have a flat roof, do yourself a favor and install a rubber EPDM membrane and make sure to contact Manuel. He also rebuilt our chimneys very good as well. Excellent masons! "Janucz was on time, friendly, professional and worked hard to make sure I was happy. HOWEVER, upon installation of my tile kitchen backsplash, the workers were found standing on my stove top, used my garbage can as their mixing bucket (which Janucz ran out and purchased a new one for me) and chipped several tiles. It took far longer than expected too. I would be weary of recommending them if I knew I couldn't be around to supervise the job like a hound. If it were Janucz doing the job, I would trust him implicitly. He was respectful and meticulous. His workers, not so much."
