After finally connecting with another contractor, negotiating and renegotiating our contract, and getting all the required permits, that contractor backed out of the project in mid-October. Our engineer put us in touch with Daniel who promptly assessed the project, quoted a fair price, fit us into his schedule, and completed our project on budget – all by mid-November. Daniel knows his stuff and was very easy to work with. After the dust cleared and the final check was cashed, we realized that our driveway took a beating over the course of the project. We probably should have anticipated this given all the heavy material and equipment involved. We got an independent estimate to make the driveway repairs, and Daniel promptly sent a check so that we can take care of repairs in the spring. "Our property was in desperate need of a complete landscape overhaul. We contacted J & P Brothers Landscaping through their website and received a fast reply the next morning. Juan came out to our property to get an idea of what he was working with, and to find out what we were looking to do. Throughout the planning stage, Juan provided us with concept drawings, plant recommendations and paver ideas. Our project was big, and it included new steps for our back door, as well as two 50’ garden walls on the front and side. The planning was a collaborative effort and did take some time because we wanted to ensure it included every single thing we were looking for. It was well worth it in the end. Each day the crew worked on our project, either Juan or his brother, Percy was onsite to manage the process. The crew worked very hard, and they were respectful of any request I made, such as keeping foot traffic within our tight property lines so as not to disturb our neighbors’ properties. Throughout the entire project, Juan and Percy checked in with me often to be sure they were on the right track and that things were as we expected them to be. They accommodated our every request, no matter how small. As the project progressed, we made several changes along the way. J & P went with the flow and made sure everything was just right. "J.D. was fantastic, we stated with a quick design consultation for a modest price to test the waters. J.D. showed up, was personable and extremely knowledgeable of his field. "They did an extraordinary job building my new sidewalk and front step. They did the job in just two days! It looks fantastic! The work was amazingly clean. All the mulch and gravel, etc., they had to move to install the sidewalk, they replaced. The new walk has made a huge improvement to the looks of my yard and home. They were easy to work with. Communication (by text) was excellent. I was kept posted on everything they were going to do. The invoice had an itemized list of all the supplies and procedures regarding the installation. I am absolutely delighted about the new walk!!!"

"Pat and Midwest Landscaping did a great job on my yard. The plants had literally taken over and we had some poison ivy growing between our fence and the neighbor’s. In one morning they trimmed things that had gotten too big, moved plants to space them out better, weeded and got rid of the poison ivy problem. Really the best part was that they used all of our own plants, so we didn’t have to buy anything new. Whenever we need more help with the landscaping, we will be calling Pat."
