"The crew worked quickly and efficiently in just 2 days. They were very polite and professional. It was amazing to watch the skill with which the large pieces of limestone were assembled together to fit like a puzzle. Because we have a fall-away lot , small boulders were required at the conclusion of the job to keep the steps in place. I wasn't available to discuss this addition; the project manager made the decision on the spot to add these boulders at no extra charge to us. It solved the problem perfectly. The completed project has been a wonderful improvement in appearance. Talking through the options to replace the wooden structure with Randy, we found a better and less expensive solution with limestone. It worked very well with the previous limestone steps that they had installed 12 years earlier."

"First it was all good but then the lillies came back up in the new grass. When I contacted them they said it would cost another $350 after I already spent over $2000 for what was suppose to be then care of. Talked to Steve after 2 weeks of waiting to hear back from him and basically it was sorry but too bad. I am 70 yr old so I'm digging them out myself and will fill in the dirt and seed again. Just hard to find good customer service even when you look on line for good ratings. Apparently they don't stand by their work."

"Really disappointed in the entire experience with grounds quality lawn. Starting with just initiating the job, it took nearly a month to get responses from them and get someone out to start work. I only stuck with it at that point because a family friend said they were good but should have gone with my gut and found another company at that point. The guys they sent were constantly taking breaks and at one point the foreman even grabbed my fishing pole and spent about 30 min fishing while the remaining four watched him. This wouldn't have bothered me as much if the rate I was paying was more reasonable but they were charging me about $600 per hour for the 5 guys so these breaks and fishing sessions were costing me a lot of money. I voiced my concern with the project manager who just made excuses and cared not at all about what was going on. I asked to speak to owner Justin grounds who did the same. Just excused the behavior and had no problem with it whatsoever. All the while no one could explain why the hourly rate was so high when the guys were working so inefficiently. They kept saying the hourly rate was $60 per hour per crew member but charging me double that with no explanation. Not sure if I was just unlucky or if the company is getting complacent and resting on their reputation but I was very unimpressed and I am generally very easy going with these things and rarely complain about having bad service from anyone."

"Was able to get quote for replacing a concrete step and walkway based on cell phone photos and a few measurements. Bid came in $500 below the others. Project manager (Chris) keep me in the loop about delays, but the work crew still came in the following Monday and got the job done in one day, and also cleared some brush without extra charge. All exchanges were professional and efficient, brief on words but big on action. Concrete repairs are expensive but I was very happy with the experience and outcome."

"Mason’s demolished and replaced ou 1200 sq ft driveway in August 2023 at a cost of $11,000. In January 2024 we noticed pitting after two small snowfalls. We had not used any salt on our driveway. Mike Mason blamed it on salt carried over from the street. He proposed that they clean and reapply a sealer on the driveway, at a cost of $1,200, and said it should prevent pitting for 3-4 years. We said if that was the case, the previous sealer must have been poorly applied, if at all. We requested that he clean and reseal on a discounted basis, for that reason. Then he ghosted us. I strongly recommend that you not use Mason’s Northside Concrete, because they misrepresent the quality and durability of their work, and do not stand behind it."

"Everything went really well! Carlos recommended the colors and pattern and turned out super. The only thing is, I wish the edge of the concrete by the pool was finished a little better. Still gave it a five because communication professionalism and work was great."
