"Gene and his crew did a great job on a difficult project. The house is over 100 years old and had been renovated several times in the past. Gene’s strength is to work collaboratively with his client to ensure the project meets the customer’s expectation. This project changed a couple of times based on what we found during demolition. Gene provided options and was always upfront about the cost of each option. We set out a schedule and the crew showed up on time for the day and on schedule for the week. I am very happy with the work."

"RUN FAR AWAY FROM ALLIED AND TOM. Tom took my money and did not complete the renovations as per our contract. He lied about having a licensed electrician to do electrical work, it was just one of his workers who's not licensed. I paid for a dumpster and when it was delivered by tom it was already half full from another allied job and I was asked to pay the full amount of $950. Tom didn't listen to anything I said regarding the work I requested and he changed my design and did work that was cheaper for him. I was priced for one of my ceiling's to be ripped out and reinstalled with new sheetrock, Tom waited until I was away on business then he installed sheetrock on top of the bad sheetrock and told me he ripped out the old sheetrock and installed the new sheetrock, I found out when my EC cut holes to install lights and we found 2 layers of sheetrock preventing the lights from being able to be installed. Allied construction is a cheap, sneaky company who will steal your money and breach your contract. Do not hire these people Tom is a lair. Tom wore a gun in my house on his hip and told me "I use this to get paid by customer who don't want to pay". Tom left live 120v wires hanging out of the walls and ceiling, he removed a banister and didn't replace it for 3 weeks making my home very unsafe for me and my 9 year old son."

"This is an overdue review. I hired Bernie and his team for a kitchen remodel in June 2021, after he did an excellent job with my three bathrooms in 2020. The kitchen remodel was also excellent. His works are efficient, hardworking and clean. My remodel took two weeks, as he had quoted and for the exact price he had quoted. I would hire him and his team again and I referred them to a coworker for her bathroom project. She was also very pleased with their work."

Both are easy to work with, knowledgeable, make lots of helpful suggestions so the project comes out even better than I had thought it would. You tell Paul what you want done, and he, and Gene in an advisory role, find a way to make it even better. They are flexible and just know how to find solutions. Their crews know what they’re doing. "Barbara was phenomenal. A true professional dedicated to her craft and excellent customer service. We had a custom toilet that stopped working, and a leaky faucet in the same bathroom. She reached out right away after requesting a quote through Angi, and she came the same day. At first she told us that the toilet required a part she’d have to order, and after fiddling with the faucet, recommended the 15 year-old fixture be replaced. I offered to purchase it from Home Depot or Lowe’s she agreed to come back to replace the old one and install it in 3 days. After she left, she called me back and asked if she can return because she figured out how she could try to fix the toilet with existing parts she had in her truck. She did it. The toilet is functioning better than it did before the problems began! She then returned 3 days later as promised to replace the bathroom faucet, a complicated project because of the cabinet structure that she stuck with and skillfully completed. On a personal note. We bonded once I asked about the name of the company, which her father, who founded the company, named after his Navy ship. My dad also served in the Navy. Barbara kept me regularly posted about when she’d arrive and the progress of the work. She was true to her word. I’d gladly paid her for her excellent work."
