"Arrogant, rude, and disrespectful. I cannot believe that people choose to use this guy's services. First off he shows up to the job site a few hours late. He then proceeds to give me a bid so high that I thought he was joking. We are talking almost 4 times as much as the average of everyone else's bid. As we are walking back to our vehicles I ask him for my plans back. He then smugly proceeds to tell me that he left the plans back at the job site because "they are not his plans". At that point I raise my voice and we begin a heated back-and-forth. As he is leaving he backs up on my lawn then as he is pulling forward he manages to run over a 35 gallon cooler that he apparently could not see. The whole time yapping about how he does so much better work than everybody else and how he's booked out with jobs. If he sees this he will probably comment back that this is not what happened but I have cameras that would prove otherwise. As folks here have stated Skyler is rude disrespectful arrogant and overpriced zero stars."

"I absolutely love the kitchen results. Every day when enter, it makes me smile. There was an electrical glitch when re-installing our 2 year old oven--the result destroyed the oven. Jon quickly offered to replace or repair--he accepted responsibility immediately--didn't try to get out of it, which we greatly appreciated. In the end, we decided to get a new oven to match the new microwave we had already purchased. He ordered the oven and we split the difference as it was more expensive. In our laundry room remodel, I had it all planned out, but Jon had several suggestions to make it better. He was absolutely right, particularly with his suggestion to go with tile instead of laminate flooring as we had originally planned. The laundry is great as well. The only thing I would change is that the cabinets are up too high for me, but despite Jon questioning the height, I went ahead and had them installed. Oh well. Jon's crew also finished a day or two shy of the 3 week time frame giving us more time to get ready for our August house guests."

Eric Vanderlip was the first to respond to my email, and came out to see the bathroom within a day. His responsiveness and professionalism really made a strong impression that he was a punctual guy who took business and clients seriously. After collecting about 6 bids for the project, we chose Eric Vanderlip for a few main reasons: 1. He was the most professional of the vendors 2. He was punctual and timely 3. He was courteous and polite 4. He gave us the impression that we would be treated like VIPs when working with him. His price bid came in around the high end, similar to what some of the more big-name brand companies in the area bid for the project. But Eric assured us that he personally would be on site every day during the project, working with us closely every step of the way to bring to life our dream vision of the new bathroom. And we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Over the course of 5 weeks, Eric completed the bathroom remodel, and it looks absolutely incredible. His attention to detail is next-level; he hand-picked exact pieces of tile to make them flow like a painting on the bathroom walls. When we had decisions to make about aesthetic issues, he was always happy to provide his expert advice and opinion. And we appreciated his advice considering he's done around 500 bathroom remodels, so he knows what looks good. He was available day and night, at any time, via text, phone, or email. It really felt like the VIP, red carpet treatment that we hoped for. He was punctual every day, communicated transparently about pricing and costs, and talked with us daily about options we were considering. He carefully protected all the flooring and stairs between the front door and the upstairs bathroom so that it wouldn't get dinged or dirty during the job. He helped us pick new marble countertops, ordered new doors, painted them, and even painted the walls for us. I don't think there's anything he CAN'T do. We are SO happy we found Eric Vanderlip, and we'll absolutely be working with him again when it's time for the next project. If I could give him a 12 out of 10, I would!"

"I'd like to express my disappointment with the recent service visit. The technician displayed unprofessional behavior through rude questioning and used inappropriate tools (Cobra Pliers instead of proper hex ratchet or ratchet wrenches) that scratched the burner base. He quoted an additional $250 for cleaning on top of the $99 visit fee, which I had no option but to agree, then failed to fix the issue and recommended replacing the entire assembly. The lack of respect shown toward me as a customer, combined with the use of wrong tools and failure to complete the repair, made this experience not one I would recommend to others."

"Jared Lord, owner of Paul Haugen Construction, and his crew are outstanding. They are dependable, honest and do excellent work. Jared's labor and countertop cost for our project was $21, 473,65 (appx. $9K under budget). Our new cabinets, sink, stove top, range hood, tile and garbage disposal were separate costs that we paid for. Regardless, the total cost was below $50K for our beautiful and functional new kitchen."

"A number of the digital buttons on my oven had started to work only inconsistently. Bold and Short responded immediately when I posted the job and came out to do an estimate. The price was reasonable so we decided to move forward. When Vitalii came again he had a new part to try. He installed it but the oven still didn't work. He reassured us that he would still be able to fix it for the original quoted cost, but had to get an entire new panel from the manufacturer. He returned a few days later, installed the new panel and additionally fixed a piece of rubber gasket that had come lose from around the oven window for no additional charge. Very happy with the service, the price and his work!"
