The crew was extremely professional, organized, thoughtful, experienced, efficient, and communicative throughout the course of the project. I was quite impressed with their design and planning skills, extensive experience, and passion for their work. My wife and I own a small row house with a small back yard, which presented unique challenges to the crew: no back yard access except through neighbors’ properties. The crew handled this challenge well by being communicative and friendly with my neighbors and always cleaning up the space at the end of each working day. They always ensured that the fencing and hardscaping looked good from both sides of the property line, so that my neighbors were also happy! Another challenge was that an adjacent property is about 3 feet above grade and not pleasant to look at from our yard. Lazaro’s planning and vision for a beige brick half-wall, topped with wooden lattice flower boxes was a great finishing touch that provided a beautiful transition between the red brick paver patio and the elevated wooden fence to block the view of the adjacent property. The crew carefully planned their work from the beginning, so that there were no surprises at the end as the finishing touches were put on and the fence was erected. My wife and I are also confident that the money we spent on this work will be a great investment—not only for enjoying our new home, but also in the resale value some day in the future. "ATD did a wonderful job of completely redoing our front yard. The yard is shaded by trees, grass would not grow, and invasive plants had taken over. ATD first met with us to understand what we wanted, and provided a concise but complete proposal. They developed a landscape design which they discussed with us as it evolved. For the installation they first removed the existing plants, grass and weeds and applied an organic weed killer to kill the invasive plants. They installed the new landscaping a few weeks later, and completed it in one day. They applied soil and hardwood mulch, planted a variety of native plants, and installed stone pavers to provide a walkway from our driveway to the house. In addition they installed a dry creek and river rocks to control water runoff. Maintenance, included for next year, includes Spring and Fall cleanups and weeding every 4-6 weeks during the growth season. We are thrilled with the yard, and neighbors have already given complements. The price was good - we did get a quote from another landscaper, and it was significantly higher. We plan to have ATD work on our back yard next Spring."

"Dave of HL Design was very professional and a true EXPERT in his field. His quote was the best in terms of cost out of 7 quotes that I received. He quoted and used Nicolock oceanic blue PREMIUM pavers, cobble stone edges, full-nose raven coping, 2-8ft sitting stone wall with 4 LED lights and a transformer. He installed a River Stones in the existing planting bed. The quality of work was great and the patio turned out beautifully! His workers cleaned after themselves each time. I absolutely love my patio and the flower bed. Dave and his crew did a GREAT job. I highly recommend them!!!"

"Freedom Fence & Deck did a fantastic job replacing our 35-year-old wood fence with a beautiful white vinyl fence. Jim (the salesman) was very easy to work with and accommodated all of our design choices. We found particular latches and handles that we wanted to use, and they agreed to install them for us. The contract process was quick and straightforward. After about six weeks, they were ready to install the fence. They sent out two crews at the same time, plus the owner Steve, who worked alongside them. With seven people working, they managed to finish the entire job in just one day! Our old wood fence was completely removed in about 15 minutes, and then they meticulously installed the new fence, setting all the posts into wet concrete and making sure all the sections were straight. At the end of the long day, when one of the locking gate latches wasn’t working right, Steve patiently worked on it until eventually we realized the part was defective, so he replaced it with a working one. A certain kind of handle had to be ordered, and as soon as it came in, he came back to install it. The fence materials are extremely high quality—the vinyl feels very thick and sturdy, unlike the kind sold at the home improvement stores. And the new fence has completely transformed the look of our property—we’ve already had several compliments from neighbors. The whole process couldn’t have gone better, and I’m happy to recommend Freedom Fence & Deck for all your fencing needs!"
