"Brandon, Owner, communicated throughout this project. He was timely, listened to our needs, and offered suggestions to make the work done look better. Highly professional and located locally. Jared, worked tirelessly and professionally, even when we were not here the first day the company started work. They stayed in budget. If Dylan continues to work for this company he will have good teachers to bring him along to their standards. We are thankful for this recommendation. B & G Buck "

"Scheduling was fantastic. They were more than pleasant and flexible when I had to reschedule twice to coincide with the arrival of the new window. They explained the process and rates to me (setup, cutting, clean-up) in detail and that the job usually takes about 3 hours. The price according to friends and others was the best around. The job was to be done early in the morning. The gentleman arrived a few minutes early and we reviewed again what was to be done. First concern was that it was my understanding that something would be put up to catch the mess that was made. I guess I was wrong since I was told it was my responsibility. I had to run out for tarps and throw something up. Then there was also a small problem with the measurements I made but he was very diligent with getting it right. Cutting seemed to go well but things were a little slow because of the measuring and the foundation was so thick. After close to 2-2.5 hours I had to run to work and after talking to the man it seemed like everything would be wrapped up soon but to have my wife call if there are any problems. I also said I don't want you to rush, just do a quality job. But after he finished cutting he left without cleanup. The place was covered in dust, a 30 gallon container of some water and cement mixture, and a couple hundred pounds of two large concrete slabs. He told my wife and assumed I didn't want to pay the extra hour for the cleanup and that it was very easy for me to cleanup myself. Cleanup wasn't easy especially since the window installers were coming the next morning and the slabs were blocking the work area. It took me some 7 hours to the wee hours of the morning to break up the concrete small enough for me to haul outside. Even though I made a make shift enclosure to keep in the dust, there was fogs of dust in my basement for days. I felt like a coal miner with black lung. It took weeks before all the dust was finally settled and vacuumed up. Overall, I think it just came down to this one worker not wanting to clean up or just assuming I could do it. I would still recommend the place for the price and reliability. I would just be very clear about what's expected."

"Wow! This is the best my yard has looked since I bought the house! My neighbors keep dropping by to tell me how good it looks, and ask who did the work. Juan was responsive, knowledgeable, and flexible in working with me. The team was great. They worked hard, were fast, and did a great job. They asked for feedback, and made sure that I reviewed their work before they left. I will be using them not only for seasonal clean up and regular maintenance, but also for major projects."

"We're very happy with the results of all of the projects Gene and Rachel did for us. All of the work they did looks absolutely wonderful and their prices were very reasonable. Gene and Rachel also had very creative ideas for the new attic room to make it usable. They were very professional and we're already planning other projects that we plan to call them for."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Long Beach, WA

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
