"Having felt comfortable with Matt personally and impressed with his design we decided to go forward. His detailed drawing and proposal made all the components and associated costs of the job clear. We were able to discuss questions and make changes easily as he was always available through email and text to discuss. We worked through all the details and, relatively quickly, came to a final agreement on design, components, and costs. One important note, at no point did Matt ever come off like a salesmen. He felt like an advisor; understanding what we wanted to get out of this whole project and doing everything he could to help us achieve the outcome we were looking for. Matt and his team were able to get started quickly, within a week or two, and quoted us two weeks to complete the work. While my wife and I both work, and were unable to be home most of the time, we know that Matt was on our property most days, both working himself and managing his team. He also asked us questions when something would come up on his end to make sure we were ok with whatever he was doing. In short, the communication between us was fantastic. There were no surprises, on either end, all along the way. The end result of the work that was done by Matt and his team was phenomenal. Specifically, his stone cutters did amazing work, including fixing and amending a front paver walkway, adding a small natural stone walkway, and, to top it all off, turning a plain existing back patio, with old pavers, that was falling apart into an extraordinary bluestone creation (see attached before and after pics). The landscape work was just as good. Matt created beds that flowed together and incorporated existing aspects of the property. He made changes to plant placement from the original design based on what he saw as he was there placing each individual component, without sacrificing the general look we agreed on. And, he made sure to take into account any existing plants that we wanted to keep and incorporate them into his plan. Lastly, the landscape lighting was just the icing on the cake. We left it all up to him and it turned out simply beautiful. All in all, we could not be happier. The team worked fast and efficient and left our property clean and looking spectacular. "Estimator arrived on time, and took extra effort to fully understand the scope and complexities of the jobs.  He was honest with us that they would not be able to install a fan in the powder room due to the configuration of our ceiling and outside wall, which would have prevented them from properly running the vent line.  I appreciated that he didn't try to proceed, but was honest about not attempting the work.   <br /> The work team arrived within their window on the day they were scheduled, and even called in advance to say that they might be slightly delayed due to traffic.  They checked in throughout the day, including verifying the exact position of the new fans before cutting into the ceiling.  Their colleague who came a day or two after the work was completed did flawless repair and plastering work.   <br /> We had an very good experience with Oliver and would consider them again for future work.    <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Dave figured out the best solution.  He and his worker dug the trenches and covered the pipes with the patches of grass after they installed the pipes, pump, & pop-up drain.  It was a very professional job and works great so far.  I have not seen the yard flooded since he did this work.  He kept in touch with me by phone and email since I was not there the whole time as it is my summer home.  <br /> This is the third time I had Dave back to do work.  I had major damage from Hurricane Sandy and on 4/13/13 he also did work for me.  He worked in my crawl space.  He replaced insulation, cleaned joists with an antimicrobial agent and then painted them with antimold resistant paint, replaced a vapor barrier, installed a sump pump, repaired foundation vents, and filled cracks in my foundation.  All for a resonable price!  Dave is honest, fair and very professional.  He always returns my calls in a timely manner.  I will call on him again for future work. <br />"

"We finally decided to fix the bathroom. We contacted Go Modern, that we used previously at my grandmother's home. A man named Tom came to the house, who we used before. Not shortly after our meeting he began the remodel.  Out with the ugly pink tile everywhere. It took almost a week and a half to complete the remodel. We have a new shower with a glass door, new tiles line the walls and floor, shower head directly over shower not out of the wall, new tub, vanity and finally more light in the bathroom. Couldn't be happier; it's like a expensive hotel bathroom in my own home. Tom was on time, did everything he could to keep the dust during the gutting period confined to the bathroom. He did high quality work. I have no complaints. I hope you all get to experience this instead of what I'm told can be a very frustrating time with poor quality contractors."
