"<p>David Giels crew arrived as promised on time on a Saturday morning as my wife & I both work.  The crew consisted of Steve, and Ken (the older guys who have worked for Dave for some time), and Tyler, a younger guy who set up shop for the task at hand.  The crew worked like a well oiled machine.  I had to move an electrical box in the garage ceiling in one of the two garage bays that was going to be covered up by the new garage door opener. As I worked on this, the guys worked outside getting the new door sections ready while I finished my job.  Ken did the replacement of my shed garage door panels ( with Tylers' help as needed ), then joined Steve & Tyler on the House garage doors.  It was obvious to me that these guys could handle any challenges they might encounter as our house provided a few.  They removed wood that would become problematic for the new garage door trim, and chiseled out concrete that would prevent a good fit and seal for the doors.  Before loading the old doors to haul away for us, they asked us if we wanted anything from the removal. I kept 4 large eye hooks that the old safety cables attached to.  The new doors have a torsion spring that replaced the old springs requiring the safety cables.  The crew was here less than six hours and did an excellent job.   They explained the programming of the openers and operation of the doors after a thorough cleaning of the jobsite.  My wife Jeanie and I are thrilled with our new garage doors and openers !   Thanks to David Giel for his initial visit and estimate.  He listened to what we wanted and made recommendations based on his expertise in his line of work.  He didn't try to sell us any extras and was as easy to work with.  His no pressure sales approach sold us immediately and we didn't hesitate to give him the job. ( David was our only estimate ! )   The office personnel were also top notch.  I called once with a question before they were open, and got a return call as soon as they got in.  Our entire experience with David Giel Garage Doors can be summed up with 1 word.... "I can't say enough good things about Sweet Success Contractors. I initially hired them for a huge plaster repair job. The previous owners of the house had hidden a roof leak behind a false wall in the master bedroom and it had left 10+ years of catastrophic damage. They did a complete restoration of the original plaster along with installing insulation and new trim to match the original wood trim that is throughout the rest of the house. They did beautiful work and were very respectful of my home and my dog. I was so happy that I brought them back again to do some work in my kitchen. They ripped up some badly installed ceramic tile (also courtesy of the previous owners). Part of it covered some original hardwood that I was determined to preserve and against all odds they managed to pull up the tile leaving the hardwood largely unscathed. They installed a radiant heat system under a porcelain tile floor that has been delightful all winter long. Once again, they installed a beautiful trim which perfectly matches the original 1937 wood trim in the rest of the house. They also did a repair of yet more water damage in my kitchen ceiling (this time from a bathtub leak) as well as repairing the leaky bathtub and doing some other minor plumbing work. When I had a minor issue with the garbage disposal, they came back same day and fixed it immediately. Still happy, I brought them back a third time to install new radiator covers throughout the house. Again, just perfect. They share my appreciation for original features in the house but they also know how to strike a practical balance between restoration and replacement. They don't know it yet, but their next projects with me are some new basement stairs and a bathroom remodel. I can't wait to hire them again."

"Engineered Foundation Solutions was a pleasure to work with, from the owners Bob and Jeff who performed the inspection and planning, to Shannon who coordinated the project and kept in weekly contact, to Brian who oversaw the work, and his crew. They were professional, courteous, informative and hard workers. They completed the job on time despite a few surprises underground, rain, and a holiday weekend. The price they quoted was a little higher than the other two estimates we received, but the degree of expertise and professionalism was well worth that price, particularly for an expensive and long lasting investment in our home.
