"Was hired to dig up and replace concrete patio...was told there would be no 'bird baths' puddles...needless to say the slab right outside the door will be an ice rink come winter...water does not drain away from the house...this he was told about...never come back to seal and patio had 'boogers' as he called it in the water drainage joints....was called multiple times and never come to fix...made quite a mess at our window well...we built a cover with screen to hide...we were at the point of seeing no integrity and taking the loss and move on...THEN...discovered a hole ...yes a hole.... again he was called said he would come and yet once again ...no call no show....should have went with the first red flag...his FIRST cancellation call to come and look at the job....actually said he wanted to go swimming...too bad...we kept giving him chance after chance to make things right"

"<p>David Giels crew arrived as promised on time on a Saturday morning as my wife & I both work.  The crew consisted of Steve, and Ken (the older guys who have worked for Dave for some time), and Tyler, a younger guy who set up shop for the task at hand.  The crew worked like a well oiled machine.  I had to move an electrical box in the garage ceiling in one of the two garage bays that was going to be covered up by the new garage door opener. As I worked on this, the guys worked outside getting the new door sections ready while I finished my job.  Ken did the replacement of my shed garage door panels ( with Tylers' help as needed ), then joined Steve & Tyler on the House garage doors.  It was obvious to me that these guys could handle any challenges they might encounter as our house provided a few.  They removed wood that would become problematic for the new garage door trim, and chiseled out concrete that would prevent a good fit and seal for the doors.  Before loading the old doors to haul away for us, they asked us if we wanted anything from the removal. I kept 4 large eye hooks that the old safety cables attached to.  The new doors have a torsion spring that replaced the old springs requiring the safety cables.  The crew was here less than six hours and did an excellent job.   They explained the programming of the openers and operation of the doors after a thorough cleaning of the jobsite.  My wife Jeanie and I are thrilled with our new garage doors and openers !   Thanks to David Giel for his initial visit and estimate.  He listened to what we wanted and made recommendations based on his expertise in his line of work.  He didn't try to sell us any extras and was as easy to work with.  His no pressure sales approach sold us immediately and we didn't hesitate to give him the job. ( David was our only estimate ! )   The office personnel were also top notch.  I called once with a question before they were open, and got a return call as soon as they got in.  Our entire experience with David Giel Garage Doors can be summed up with 1 word.... "Drum removed the old side walks around my house prepped and poured new. I also had them excavate, prep and pour a new pad for a 16x24 foot garage. I couldn't be happier. The side walks and garage pad were prepped and formed the same day and concrete poured the next. Shawn the machine operator took time to explain the process as did Angie. They showed up when promised and finished when they promised. The price was less than all my other bids. When they left everything was cleaned up nice and neat. They even fixed the tire marks from the cement truck in my yard and swept my driveway. I will definitely use them in the future for my front and back patios. A+++."

"From our first phone call, to the last drop of concrete that was poured, I cannot say enough about how well Dom and his entire crew did with our project. Dom was a pleasure to work with. He detailed information about how the driveway and sidewalk would be completed and took time to answer every question we had. Dom told us in the spring, they would be out in August, and like clockwork we got a phone call to schedule out project at the beginning of August. The crew worked nonstop removing the old driveway and prepping the area for the pour. They cleaned the jobsite each day and made sure they did not cause any issues for the neighbors. They kept us informed each day of the progress. After completing the pour, they even came back the next day to not only power wash the driveway and sidewalk, but also make sure the street was clean as well.
