"We've all heard those horror stories about bad contractors and botched remodels. Well, this isn't one of them. We decided to remodel our kitchen and bathrooms, so we researched reputable companies - using the popular home project review websites, Googling and combing through reviews, asking around, the usual. We made a list of about eight contractors and we met with six of them. There were two that we liked but Mark's ideas and attention to detail were better during the consultation, so we hired him to remodel our bathrooms. It's important to note that we made the first large payment with our credit card, really because we were afraid of hiring a contractor and having them disappear after we paid them. We were very cautious. After that first payment and spending some time with Mark and his crews, we were happy to write him checks when he asked because he had earned our trust. In fact, we had a punch list of some minor items after the jobs were completed, and Mark made sure everything was taken care of immediately, and this was after our final payment had already been made. His crews were on time every day and worked hard the whole time they were here. We liked the quality of their work and the materials they used so much, we had them stay and replace our basement floor. We then moved on to our other large project, our kitchen remodel. We trusted Mark and his crews so much that we gave them full access to our home while we were out on vacation. A pipe burst during that week, and one of Mark's men noticed it right away and fixed it immediately (Mark ran out to buy the needed plumbing supplies), preventing the basement from flooding and saving us quite a lot of money and frustration. We are first time remodelers, so we were asking questions and changing things throughout, yet Mark and his crews were incredibly patient, flexible, and professional. I can't recommend Mark and Modern View enough. We LOVE our sparkling new kitchen and bathrooms! A contractor who is honest, talented, professional, charges a very fair price, and is such a nice man. Hire him, you won't regret it. (In this day and age, you can expect a lot of fake reviews. We did not receive any compensation or discounts for writing this review.)"

"John and team transformed our old bathroom shower into a modern “marble look” porcelain tile shower. His team started work quickly and adjusted hours to our schedule. The were extremely helpful providing design recommendations, quick to complete the project, worked cleanly/neatly throughout the project (no dust and debris anywhere), and were easy to work with. And, their price was the best of the three contractors I talked to. I would highly recommend John and his team. Our shower looks incredible, thanks to John’s quality work. "I spoke with 3 general contractors regarding the project and chose Jakubek. Dawid and his father were punctual, responsive with follow-up questions, and provided a reasonable quote. Even though I read their highly recommended reviews on Angi's website, I was still nervous about picking a contractor. However, now that the project is completed, I can honestly say Jakubek Inc- father, son, & team were amazing! They shifted cabinets in my kitchen island and installed a new granite countertop to make space for a new 36-inch range to replace my 30-inch range. In addition, they created a new vent plus electrical and installed a new hood. They removed the existing sink and cabinet in the powder room and installed a new cabinet, sink, countertop, and mirror. I moved my furniture out of the main level to have hardwood floors refinished and realized how badly the walls needed to be repainted. They were able to accommodate a last-minute request to paint interior walls and ceiling. Admittedly, the breakdown price for refinishing the hardwood floors was a few thousand more than other quotes, but I liked the continuity of having 1 contractor handle all details. Jakubek removed the quarter-round modeling, the floors were refinished (looked fantastic!) and then re-installed new quarter-round modeling. The team also installed tiles by the backdoor entrance because previously, it was hardwood, and the floor was so damaged by tracking in water/snow. Honestly, I could not ask for a better contractor - so nice, trustworthy, helpful, and felt very comfortable having the team in the house to do the work. I will definitely recommend their work and use them for any future projects."

"We loved working with Ibro! He is super responsive, which is something people are usually concerned about when it comes to working with a contractor. Any time we had any questions or concerns, Ibro would call almost immediately. He showed up on time every day we expected and was always very neat & tidy with his work space. Our project costed about what we expected, and he does beautiful work! He renovated our primary bathroom and closet, and it’s everything we hoped it would be and more! He is very skilled and takes his time to make sure everything looks perfect. We are super impressed with his work and will definitely be using his services again for any future projects."
