"Repair of small guest bathroom shower/tub area. Chose americraft bc they had no complaints on bbb and good reviews on social media. After obtaining quote greg came out to evaluate repair and answer questions. Our perception was that Greg lost interest when we didn’t want to change tub to shower or replace the bathtub. Just to keep existing tub. This would have brought quote down 2 to 3 thousand dollars. At this point Greg practically ran out of our condo. Never heard back from them. Our perception is that Americraft is not nterested if project is 10 thousand or lower. My wife may of scared him with either providing awareness of plumbing problems with common area or had all lights off except bathroom bc she’s embarrassed of our condo. Do not recommend for small projects."

"I called Jakubek earlier in the year to get a quote for a kitchen remodel. I had a few requests for the remodel: take down a wall, get more counter and cabinet space and install a dishwasher (finally after 12 years in my house without one!). Dawid and Robert came out to my home and discussed with me what I wanted, took measurements and said they would need a few days to come up with a design. They gave me recommendations of websites to start looking at finishes and suggested I start thinking of what I would want for floors, counters, cabinets, etc. A few days later, they came back with an awesome design that incorporated all of the requests in a beautiful and functional manner. They gave me digital renderings of what it would look like and a fully detailed quote that was affordable in within my budget. To be honest, it came back on the lower end of my budget so I called them back and added to the scope of the work. We worked together to adjust the design to my liking and once it was perfect, we signed the contract. Through the whole process, the Jakubek team was extremely communicative and helpful in the planning process. They listed to what I wanted and helped me achieve it. Every time I had a question, it was answered quickly and honestly. Although I picked all the finishes and colors myself, Dawid was always helpful in giving me honest opinions on whether what I picked would work and be functional in my new kitchen. He soon became a trusted advisor and I felt very confident in his recommendations. He kept me informed of the work happening on the project every day. I really appreciated the communication! They worked very efficiently and professionally. Always punctual. At the end of every day, my home was left in an organized and clean manner and they completed all the work in logical order so that the progress flowed properly. All the details were completed just as they had promised and I was really impressed with their craft. It was really enjoyable to watch it all come to reality. So I started with a kitchen remodel and ended up with a beautifully renovated home. I mentioned before that I added to the scope of work in the beginning and then added again two more times! Each time I requested the additional work, Dawid would give me all the details on cost and how it would effect the completion date. So not only did I have the kitchen done (including all new wood cabinets and quartz counters, took down the wall and moved the footprint/layout of the kitchen), I had new hardwood floors installed on my first level and had existing hardwood floors and stairs refinished on my second floor. They painted my entire first floor and upstairs hallway, installed all new trim on my doors and windows on my first and second floor and replaced all my doors too! I literally have a new house thanks to Jakubek!"

He helped us select cabinets and worked through several versions of the kitchen layout until we were happy with it--we were easily able to swap out cabinet layouts and finishings, like adding a farmhouse sink. His crew were reliable, on-time, and respectful of our property throughout the remodel and we appreciated their attention to detail. They solicited our input on decorative details and were quick to fix things we didn't like, e.g., the location of kitchen cabinet pulls. We felt they treated our home as they would their own. "What can I say about Dan and crew? If there were six stars, I would have given them all of those! Our powder room job was also flooring for the hallway and laundry room, plus a utility sink. It was a total gut job in the bathroom. Dan could not have been nicer, quoted us a more than fair price and the job was finished in record time. He was very responsive to any questions we had (ok mostly me). Also, his workers (2) were fantastic. I'm not sure if I should name them, so I won't. They were efficient and professional, asked questions when needed and cleaned up the site and their work space (our garage) every single day. They treated our home with care, as well as our old appliances and new fixtures. We could not have been happier with all of it."

The were extremely helpful providing design recommendations, quick to complete the project, worked cleanly/neatly throughout the project (no dust and debris anywhere), and were easy to work with. And, their price was the best of the three contractors I talked to. I would highly recommend John and his team. Our shower looks incredible, thanks to John’s quality work.
