Customers say: Quick response

"Accurate pavers wouldnâ t honor their â lifetimeâ warranty after the driveway work they attempted to repair twice continued to spread apart. After calling and having them come to inspect they said they wouldnâ t fix it. Shoddy work with no warranty."

"I called Outdoor Elegance for a Landscaping quote and also needed Sprinkler system install which was listed on their website under specialty experience and with Angies list. While I was getting other landscaping quotes Derek Enkes, the foreman/manager said I might as well get the sprinkler system installed as I would need it for the new plants no matter what. So he gave me a verbal quote which seemed a little high but Outdoor Elegance had a good name so I told him to do it. He did tell me that he would be sub-contracting out the work to one of his former employees who did excellent work. He talked me into going with an above the ground pump instead of a submersible pump because he said he had the same pump on his system at his house and it was great and it was easier to service. Not knowing any better I OKed it. When they were installing the pump I noticed that they simply cut off the pipe that the old submersible pump was on and never lenthened the pipe to make up for the 3 ft they cut off. Derek said it was OK that that would not make any difference. My first clue that they did not have the experience they told me they did was when they could not get the pump to prime and forgot to put a check valve on the line. They left and came back with a check valve and after some other adjustments finally got the pump working and changed out some sprinkler heads. Part of the agreement was to locate all of the valves and heads and put them on a drawing so they could easily be located. They located and uncovered everything but did not give me a drawing as agreed to. They dsiad the sprinkler guy would come back and do that after I paid them. He never did come back and complete that part even after several calls to Derek about it. By the way when he asked for a check for doing the work I was going to make it out to Outdoor Elegance who I thought I was hiring and he said no to make it out to him. I also called Outdoor Elegance and talked to a lady who was the owner to get Derek and she basically told me that if Derek ran it through his own company that they could not control that. Then less than 5 months after installing the pump it went out of prime twice going through the cycles many times with no water flowing and burned the pump up. I called in the neighbors sprinkler guy and he said that it was not installed correctly, that the area where the lines went in and out of the pump were leaking badly causing it to loose prime. He also said the shortening of the pipe probably didn't help either since in the dry season the water level goes down. I called Derek twice and he told me he was getting surgery and could not help me until he healed and would call me back. He never called me back so I had someone else install a submersible pump which should have been installed in the first place. Of the $2200 that I paid Derek I asked for the $600 back for the pump and he hung up on me and would never answer the phone again. Derek Enkes over promises and under delivers. If you are considering Outdoor Elegance or anything Derek Enkes has anything to do with, run for the hills as you are about to be had."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Naples, FL

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
