"Given that slate roofing is a rather unapproachable topic for homeowners, it is hard to understand the quality of the work. The only thing one can rely on, often, is before-and-after pictures. Although promised pictures of the completed work, Chad did not follow through, even after 2 additional requests. As well, I am a young female homeowner and did not find the interactions as professional as they would have been with, say, a 45-year-old man. They had the ladders on my roof before I agreed to the scope of the project and before a contract was signed. In addition, the contract was one sheet, scribbled and written, with some items indiscernible. I am not asking for the polished interaction of a five-star restaurant, but I would have appreciated not feeling hoodwinked after all was said and done."

He suggested some repitching of the gutters, a few leak repairs and the installation of shur Flo gutter guards.
