Victor, my amazing repair person, found a small hole the previous builder hid at initial construction at the corner of second floor slash roof. The flashing wasnt done right and the hole allowed the water to work its way down. After 20yrs of this minor leaking it destroyed my wall, damaged the rock, and even worked its way to the beginning of the flooring above the basement room. The pictures show what 20yrs of a tiny leak can do. What a simple minor leak looked like, was actually a monster that damaged alot. They fixed everything to perfection, even found a second minor issue after fixing the flashing. "Price was competitive and included a 50 year warranty which was great. My new roof looks okay but is crooked in places, the roofers left nails all over my yard, 6 months later and I'm still finding nails in my yard. In addition to that they left a huge oil stain on my driveway that I had to argue with the foreman about until it got cleaned up. The first day on the job and the foreman said I had a nice house and asked what my husband does for work. I said I don't have a husband, and he asked if my parents helped me purchase my home. I let him know that I purchased the house on my own. 2 months after the roof was completed I still had not received my warranty. It took me about 6 phone calls, and an email to the owner before I got the warranty sent to me. After I emailed the owner the foreman sent a snarky text saying I should have contacted him instead of the company. All in all it might be worth the competitive price if you're willing to put up with misogyny and to stay on top of things."

"After being in construction for 30 years, and then a commercial maintenance tech for another two years, disability got the best of me. I could not do this roof repair myself. We called and emailed several companies, but nobody came. Then we found Bryan, of Candland Const. Just when we were about to give up ALL hope of someone that could do the job, Bryan came to the rescue! My goodness...after the initial phone call, he was knocking on the door. Two minutes (maybe) later, he was on the roof figuring the best possible route, and making a plan of attack. After consulting with this very sharp, knowledgeable person, he was at our home the very next day loaded with the equipment and materials needed to give me peace of mind, and put them directly to use. It was getting dark, but that did not stop him! He really didn't want, or desire to stop working until he felt comfortable in doing so- a rare find these days!! Bryan, of Candland Construction, is by far, the "Go-To" man of the year! He took the grief and despair, and the worries right off our shoulders. Like I said- and I absolutely know- it is very rare these days to find such an honest, hard worker. I do know what I'm talking about. I must find much more for him to do around here. I will also tell others that they need 'shop' no further, Bryan owns a certain magic that I thought was lost and gone forever! I'm not sure at this point, if my family and I can thank Bryan enough for his outstanding efforts to achieve what he has done for us. One more item I must mention...you will be hard pressed to find a better price that fits any budget, and I know, again, what I'm talking about here too!
