"We had few remodeling projects that we needed done for our home and from the beginning, our project manager, Jacob, did not disappoint us. Jacob and his team were professional, kind, and always took the time to discuss our needs about some changes we wanted to make. Jacob gave us many suggestions and ideas and we quickly got to work. We needed several things done on the inside of our home, but also in the backyard and front driveway. Jacob and his team transformed the floors, yard and driveway into a more modern, beautifully put a together work of art. Some of this work included making cement repairs and changing the driveway from stone to concrete. A bunch of the bricks in the yard were damaged and old and Jacob’s team could redo the walls and floors with the new brick color we selected. We could immediately see a difference as they payed so much attention to detail in lining everything up perfectly and we could tell that they had a lot of experience. We also changed some of the flooring in the inside of our home, which came out just as great. Overall, very professional and efficient work, good communication and always showing up to work."

"Last November we bought a house that was built in 1951 and still had the original kitchen and (two) bathrooms. After interviewing several contractors, we hired Greenworks to redo all three rooms, and expand the kitchen into what had been a separate dining room. Our contractor was Avi Ben-Shabat and I can't say enough good things about him and his crews. During the proposal/estimate process he told us up front that he wouldn't be the cheapest (though he was close), but told and showed us in easy-to-understand detail what would make his work stand out and be worth any extra expense. He showed us photos of bathrooms and kitchens that were in much worse shape than ours and what he did with them. He was also able to look over our dated rooms and make some very interesting suggestions as to how to improve their layouts and make them more efficient. Another contractor we interviewed (who I won't name here) tried to pressure us into making a decision right then and there, and also tried to dangle an Angie's List discount in front of us but also said he couldn't even apply for that unless we signed a contract with him first. We resented the pressure and guessed the Angie's List thing was a bait-and-switch, and sent him on his way. Avi didn't play those kinds of games. He stressed from the outset that we could take our time making a decision and start the job when we were ready. He also laid out all the costs we would be incurring and when each payment would be due. Even with having to estimate the cost of cabinets and countertops, he was pretty close to what those things ended up costing us. We had an active role in the design process but never felt like he was just going to do what we asked, whether it was a good idea or not, and that's exactly what we wanted in our contractor. He's the pro, not me, and part of his job is to tell me if an idea is bad. He and his crew were friendly and professional the entire time. They took great care to protect the other areas of our house from dust and debris, and cleaned meticulously at the end of each workday. In fact they left our garage cleaner than it was when we moved into the house! Special shout-outs to Gil, Anthony and Julio, all of whom were genuinely great to have around. We actually miss them. Avi has different crews for different jobs - one for demolition, another for tile installation, etc. The only real hiccup in our job was discovering that the pipes under the house were galvanized and although they weren't in urgent need of replacement, we did it because it made sense, with the floors and walls already exposed. We hired a separate plumber for that and he and Avi worked together to coordinate that piece of the work. All the guys did great work, only took days off when the weather prevented them from doing what was scheduled and once when someone had a family emergency. They even worked weekends on occasion to keep us on schedule. We fully trusted them in our home and we'd go out and leave them there to work. We even left town for a week and at the end of each day they'd text us to let us know we could turn our security system back on. Avi was always there with suggestions and thoughts on design, paint colors, etc. He also talked us OUT of things he thought would be more expense than they were worth. "If you do it this way, you'll save $500," etc. We really appreciated that. He never tried to upsell us unless it really made sense, and the biggest add-on (removing two existing windows in the kitchen and replacing them with a single central window), was at my suggestion, not his. He went with us to the home design store and helped us pick out showerheads and all that stuff. We bought the major appliances on our own but always with his input. Avi was on top of every detail. More than once we saw him directing his crew to fix something we wouldn't have even noticed. After the cabinets were installed I noticed that the sink wasn't quite centered under the window - it was off by 3/8". Avi got the cabinet guys to come back and shift the entire section of cabinets 3/8" to get it lined up, and looking at it now you can't tell where or how they did it (though I know). With any job this size there will be a few minor issues after it's done - in our case a couple of cabinet doors with defects and some wood trim that's settled and needs to be recaulked, but overall the job went extremely well - we're really shocked, frankly, that there were no major issues or times work had to be stopped to address some problem. Took a little longer than the initial estimate but that's how these things always are. This was our third reno and hopefully our last. Avi made clear to us that if anything comes up, even if it's two years from now - he'll be here to resolve it. Overall we could not be happier with the decision to use Greenworks for our project and we highly recommend them."

"If you have a house-painting project of any type in the San Fernando Valley or Los Angeles, look no further than "Tito Alcaraz Painting, Inc." for all your exterior and interior renovations. I contacted Tito directly for my house's exterior update in late July 2019. We set up an appointment for a free on-site estimate - on the weekend too! We discussed what I was looking for with this project and we agreed to a price for the work, and start date. After reviewing the scope of my project's details, Tito emailed me the final contract, and he started in August. His professional, long-time painting foreman, Jesus, and painters, arrived punctually every morning at 7 a.m. to begin work. First they hydro-blasted the exterior to clean everything. Then they masked the windows and doors, and covered plants and patios/furniture, and protected the driveway to keep the project's work area as clean as possible. After the prep-work, all the cracks along the foundation's stucco were repaired and the finish matched to the existing exterior. The old damaged wood and paint was removed, sanded, patched and primed for two coats of final finish. His crew also trenched around the perimeter of my house to provided a solid even ground level finish. Tito's painters meticulously followed my project's requirements; making minor adjustments along the way. He was in constant communication with me, and his crew, to provide periodic updates. "He provided the name of the engineer he would use for the structural considerations and the draftsman for the submission of plans to the City of LA for all permit requirements. As soon as the permits were issued he began work immediately. I was on site for the entire project and was extremely well pleased with the workers used, from framers to drywaller, all were excellent.  He kept me informed of all details and progress of the job.  The city inspections went smoothly.  Adam also offered decorating suggestions and referrals for flooring.  I will certainly use Adam for any future projects. <br />"
