"Owner came out to look at our roof because we had some water leaking. He said the roof was showing it's age. There were holes causing the leaking because nails had popped up. He said he could fix the holes and it should likely get us another year or 2 or he could do the whole roof. We opted to have the holes fixed so that we could have a year to save up some money to offset some of the costs of replacing the whole roof. A week later there was a heavy rainfall and there were no leaks. We appreciated that he had an alternative to replacing the whole roof for now."

Rich took a look at my roof, made recommendations, and took the time to explain options regarding gutters, flashing, etc. He was very responsive to questions (of which I had many) throughout. A couple of things that set Tonka apart were that they threw in the roof on a small shed at no additional cost, and did not propose to do unnecessary work (e.g. replacing gutters, redoing flashing that was in good shape, etc.). My roof was leaking, so I was very interested in getting it repaired quickly this spring. Tonka roofing was accommodating and scheduled the job very quickly after our initial consultation. Rich stopped by to discuss colors and products, and had very good insights regarding which product to choose. When the time came to do the work, the crew showed up on time, was very professional, and was very efficient. They got nearly the entire job done in one day, with just a few odds and ends on the second morning. They even repaired a ceramic potter of mine that had cracked last winter with some extra caulk! There is exactly one thing that wasn't perfect, which is that we found quite a few staples around the yard, particularly on our concrete patio. I expected to find a few, so this wasn't the end of the world. Overall the roof and skylights look great, and I believe that the work was done in a professional manner.
