"I hired Century to move me and my family from the western end of Pennsylvania to the eastern end of Illinois , my movers Nestor & Antwan were very professional and accommodated my move right after a snow/ice storm that hit the whole state of Pennsylvania. They done their job in a timely matter the only issue was when it was time to pay my card was declined due too a fluke which understandably make the company owner nervous but I got it paid, and all was good. The company honored the original quote they had given me before services was rendered. "Teddy Moving was the best moving experience I could’ve asked for. They showed up on time, and moved me out of my 1Bed apartment within an hour and a half. That includes wrapping up my delicate personal belongings such as my plants. They even assisted with unscrewing my stubborn TV mount that I struggled to do on my own. Talk about peace of mind! "Dealing with Optimum Moving LLC was very easy especially during a stressful time, such as a move. The contact person, Carlos was very understanding and helpful with the initial appointment set up. Johan, Walter, and Emilo were the three men who moved all of my things, seemingly with ease even though there was a lot of things. They packaged the furniture so well with moving blankets and cardboard, there were no issues with damage to any of the items. No damage was done to either home. The move occurred on Halloween and they navigated this large moving truck through a crowded neighborhood and dealt with the crowds professionally. They even finished ahead of the estimated time. It was a pleasure working with these gentlemen and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a professional moving company. "The efforts of the movers who packed up my home went well; After speaking to Eli, I opted for the services that grouped my items for an interstate move, that stated items would arrive between 8-10 business days of the earliest move in date; after giving the date, it required several calls to coordinate the actual day. The second set of movers arrived at the appointed time then angled for a tip stating that there was an elevator charge of $300 (would it have been better to use the stairs to a 4th floor apt). Two small incidents with the move in-2 pieces of furniture were damaged, which I filed with the moving company, 3 months later no word on that claim, and, the movers failed to wash their hands after using my bathroom. Going forward, To have better control over the delivery and quality of work of the move effort, on both ends, I found it easier to coordinate the 3 phases of packing, moving and unpacking on my own; and hopefully I will see the funds from the insurance claim."
