"I had a great experience working with Zach and the crew from Blue Crab Home Solutions. They took time to understand that I wanted to widen and replace my 40 year old driveway. Zach answered all of my questions. He provided me information that I needed to supply to my HOA and got the work done in a timely fashion at a great price. They worked with me to ensure my neighbors were not inconvenienced. They cleaned up every day at the end of the day, leaving the property in great shape. "I waited a few months to write this review as I wanted to wait for a large rain storm before writing my review. The last three days have been very rainy, so I am writing my review today. I connected with Stop Leak in September of 2018 about the major flooding in my basement. They came out that same week to look at what had occurred, and what needed to be done for them to properly assess. I then got to work demoing our basement, as it needed to be done in order to prevent mold and properly waterproof. They stopped by multiple times during demo and when it got to a point where they could see what was happening they provided a list of things that could be done to reduce the water issues. By no means was this an inexpensive process, but it was all very necessary. The provided a list of five different things (movement of sump pumps, installation of additional sump pump, exterior water proofing, removal of concrete floor, and installation of a water guidance system) and knowing that we wanted the basement to be livable space we opted to have all of it done. Within a month of signing our contract they were on the job. Their team was very respectful of working in our house while my wife works from home, seemed to enjoy the company they worked for and did a great job. They even went through the trouble of hand smoothing the concrete when it was poured as they knew we wanted to keep it exposed. Their one follow up item was that when the the weather warmed up they were going to come back and smooth the yard and lay down grass seed where they had backed onto the front lawn. Within a week of the weather turning they did just that! Now, with all of the rain we have had this past week I am happy to report that all designs they put in are working perfectly. Our basement is very dry, and finally properly usable. Again, this was a huge job and not cheap to do but if I ever hear of someone having water issues I will highly recommend them. Oh, and they helped coordinate with a great plumber to have our proper lines run in between floor removal and concrete pouring. Great experience overall!"

"The estimator, Dennis accommodated my scheduling requests, and changes in the contract, he was there as well, when the resurfacing started. My driveway needed a specific piece of machinery; so they used their subcontractor, which was excellent too. F&M came back 3 days later, backfilled, mulch, and seeded the bare spots, then a rep came by to check on the finished project. I love the look of my driveway now and would recommend F&M to friends and family!"

"The Crack Man promptly gave an estimate for repairing a crack in my poured concrete basement wall. He responded promptly to all of my questions. He arrived on time and the repair was done so well that the repair is barely visible. He was kind enough to do my job on short notice in order for me to put my house on the market. "It went great. I have used this company before - David Harris is my "go to" person for all things flooring and tile. I was happy that not only did David agree to do the tile work for my bathroom flooring and shower, he also agreed to provide services for installation of three vanities and installation of plumbing fixtures for three sinks and one shower. (The pros David sent also did some extra plumbing work beyond just normal installation of fixtures; extra carpentry work was also required for vanity installation. I provided cabinets, tops, and plumbing fixtures.) As usual, the experts from Ultimate got the job done and David provided some great ideas about what tile to use and how to make it "all work." "May, 2021. I would highly recommend Barlow Concrete. I am writing this review on my own accord; they don't know I'm posting this. After interviewing 4 contractors, I chose Barlow to make a 22"x 10' patio, front walkway, and driveway border to the property line. They gave me a very competitive price. I chose them because I felt the most comfortable with the project manager, Andrew. Andrew also gave me a construction date that was sooner than later - within 7 business days - and were quite flexible with me, as I had to work through an HOA. The crew was outstanding. Quick, efficient, and left a very remarkable product - including a solution to the driveway edging - which was to build in a curb. They taped everything off and cleaned up the area very well. This company cares. In the early evening, Andrew came by to check the work and my satisfaction with it. That rarely happens nowadays. I am tremendously pleased."

"For years we have lived without an upstairs bath. We wanted to add the much needed full bathroom to our 90+ year old home which involved punching out the attic and surrounding roof and creating a new shell structure. Due to the age of the house it mandated code upgrades to the existing structure. In addition to the bathroom the project involved building new closets on both floors and extensive plumbing and electrical work throughout the entire house. We also wanted upgraded finishes for the exterior and interior of the addition. After several recommended and promising contractors were hesitant or unable to commit to the scope of the project we searched and found Gustavo. After our first meeting with Gus we knew we had the right person for the job. He and his crew went above and beyond the requirements of the job and were always courteous and respectful of our household and daily routines. Working as a team Gus and his men displayed the highest level of professionalism and craftsmanship. He always involved us in all levels of decision making. Gus resolved issues and problems in an artful and creative manner and had a keen eye for the smallest details. They created a new bathroom worthy of a magazine display page and beautiful, functional closets. We are totally happy and satisfied with our new bathroom and other improvements.
