"Sky High Services exceeded our expectations in every way. We had a tree that needed urgent removal, and their crew responded promptly with a fair quote and expert service. They brought the tree down without damaging our fence or landscaping. The cleanup was great, and their communication throughout the process was top-notch. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing tree work."

"From start to finish, Plymouth Nursery handled this project with professionalism and hard work. The owner, Joe DiJiosia, was readily available for an on site evaluation and we received a reasonable quote within a short time. Once the work was started, I was impressed with the hard work of the crew. Jose, Arturo, and Mario did an excellent job every day on the job and didn't leave without making sure the area was cleaned up. My patio looks great and I highly recommend using Plymouth Nursery."

"*  The top layer of grass was removed from the section between the fence and the driveway, but they didn't clear down far enough <br />    to allow the Red Stone to set down in the ground where the grass had been.  The weed barrier fabric was put in place almost <br />    level with the driveway, so that most of the Red Stone is driveway level or above.  This means that the stones keep falling out of <br />    the border area into the driveway. <br /> *  Rather than being removed, the weeds were just turned-over in the garden beds. <br />   <br /> *  The pots were placed in the gardens as requested. However, more than 1.5  to 2 inches of mulch were installed  - <br />    as much as 4 to 5 inches in most areas, totally covering the Vinca Minor plants in one bed. When I asked about the plants <br />    having been covered over, Tom said they would be fine.   When I asked if they could spread any "extra" mulch in a bed located <br />    on the other side of the house that also contains Vinca Minor, he said covering those plants is "not recommended".  I questioned  <br />    why, then they'd covered the same plants on the bed on the other side of the house.  He didn't answer. <br /> *  Instead of "neatening or straightening" the existing beds in the backyard as I'd requested, they just edged those beds following <br />     the edges that had grown in crookedly. <br />     When I talked to Tom Garro about coming back to address the edging of the garden beds, he said that he was to "define the existing beds" and he said he'd done that and wasn't coming back.  I'm guessing he wasn't thrilled that on the day they arrived I'd asked him to place six pots in the back garden as well.  I don't know.  I just know that I had to try to uncover all the young Vinca plants that they'ed covered with 3 to 4 inches of mulch; and I had to try to straighten/neaten the edging of the gardens along the sides and back of our backyard.  That was frustrating because that was what we'd paid Land Details to do. <br />"

"After moving into my new house, it was apparent that I was going to need to do some exterior landscaping work.  Some of the trees were growing out of control (with branches and limbs resting on the roof and gutters of the house) and the planter beds were overgrown with weeds and even poison ivy.  Additionally, the beds had not been mulched in a while and the entire exterior landscaping just looked poor and the house looked like it had not been maintained. <br /> Iggy came out and did the initial assessment and he arrived on time, and he quickly identified some of the issues I was concerned with before I even got to bring them up.  We agreed on the amount of work and the price, and he put me on the schedule.  On the day the work was scheduled, and army of people showed up and got everything completed within about half a day; I was not there when the work took place, so just relying on what my wife told me.  When I came home from work that day, everything was done and it looked excellent. <br /> I will definitely be using Iggy again this Spring / Summer. <br /> <br /> <br />"

FAQs for trees & shrubs treat, protect and maintain projects in Perkiomenville, PA

A tree doctor or tree surgeon is another term for an arborist. The term is more common in places like the United Kingdom. They are professionals trained to plant, care for, maintain, diagnose, and remove trees of all kinds. Tree doctors have specialized knowledge to ensure the health and safety of trees.

Arborists are tree care specialists who plan, maintain, and enhance the health of trees with expert precision. They prune, diagnose diseases, treat pest infestations, remove hazardous limbs, and manage debris cleanup while developing comprehensive landscaping plans. They also handle tree planting and work with landscape professionals to ensure long-term tree vitality and safety.

Consulting arborists are tree experts who can advise homeowners and business owners on the right trees to plant, how to care for existing trees, and what to do about trees that appear to be sick or pose a safety threat. A consulting arborist may work with local landscape architects, investment property owners, city governments, developers, and other arborists.

An arborist may be able to save a dying tree. If you notice that your tree suddenly appears to be sick or is exhibiting unusual behavior, contact an arborist immediately. They will thoroughly inspect the tree to determine what might be wrong with it—and will let you know if it’s possible to save the tree and how to do it.

Verifying an arborist’s credentials is crucial for reliable tree care. Arborists must be licensed by their state and hold certifications from reputable organizations such as the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). Request proof of licensing and certification, and review local recommendations to ensure you are hiring a professional who meets high industry standards and adheres to strict safety protocols.
