"I originally hired Carlos to install some new vanity tops and sinks and to repair and paint my deck. I was preparing my house for sale. After discussing with my agent the list of things to do grew substantially. Carlos stepped up and ended up taking on all the work. He (and his crew) removed popcorn ceiling, painted walls, ceilings, stair bannisters, cabinet doors, front door, steps and he installed a new vanity, tiled, fixed plumbing issues, fixed electrical issue with switches, repaired and installed blinds. Caulked and sealed and even removed a dead rodent in the crawl space! He did all this in a VERY tight timeline as I needed to get the house on the market. He worked long hours and when little stuff cropped up her came back to fix or change. He is polite, responsive and professional. He kept me informed of what he found and any needed changes and provide receipts for supplies quickly. I gave him a key and I was very comfortable with him working when I was at work. All in all a very good experience and I will use him again."

"I originally needed to get my roof redone as part of a solar installation project, and the solar company referred me to Cosmic Roofing as their preferred partner. Due to the unusual roof slope on my house, several other companies had turned me down for this project. Cosmic sent me David A. to go over the initial conversation of the project. We talked about work streams, dates, expectations, areas of concern, and of course the price. He showed me sample tiles, colors, materials, and explained some items that I hadn't taken into account, such as adding new vents to pass the permit process. I felt like David really understood what needed to be done and how he would tackle it. That was why I felt comfortable signing a work order right away. The tiles were delivered within days, which I was pleasantly surprised at. The roof installers came the next day, and did their job efficiently. Permits were reviewed the same week, and I officially had a new roof in less than a month's time. It's commendable how efficient this company is. My house is now noticeably cooler on sunny days because David recommended the white roof tiles. Of course, the fast speed made it easy for the solar company to do their installation too. We're very happy to have worked with Cosmic Renovation and Roofing. It wasn't until I spoke with David that I found out they also do solar installations. I might've had them make a bid for the solar work as well, but since I had already decided on someone else, it wasn't in the cards. Anyways, if you're looking to add solar to your roof, give Cosmic a call for a quote."

"As part of a solar install, I needed to replace my old tar+gravel roof and chose Lovett & Lovett to do the work. They're quite busy and had a 2+ month lead time but had a timely response to my request for an estimate. Jordan came out to give me the estimate to replace my old roof, install a new roof with insulation and to install a new skylight. Overall the price was in-line with what I was expecting and the other estimates I got (when I could get a roofer to respond!). The plan was to do the roof install along with the solar installer so that the solar panel supports can get placed before the new roof went on. Without Jordan's help the solar installer would have screwed it up - they showed up with supports that they thought were too short for the roof + insulation (they weren't) and they didn't have longer supports on hand. They said they'd have to come back after the roof was installed to cut into the new roof and place the supports after the fact. Jordan learned about this and called the solar installer directly, told them that the supports would work fine as is and made them come back to the house to do the install. I'll note that it was not a joint contact or anything - Lovett Roofing wasn't responsible for the solar install, but Jordan wanted to make sure that it was done right. As for the actual roof - it looks good and so far has held up great. The finish work on the skylight was done very well. Overall, I was impressed with the thoroughness and polish of the install. Even my neighbors commented how good the roofers were."

"They were good, they cleaned up every day at the end of the day. The roof is in good shape and the gutter work beautifully in recent rains."

"They did what they said they would do and when they said they would do it. Roof looks good and the clean up was also good. The people working on the project were professional. The only thing was communication. Needed a little more conversation over the phone to confirm arrival on first full work day. The sales rep showed up to lay down a plastic cover over a suspected leak and it held up during some very blustery rain. Over all excellent work but expensive."

"Called them after seeing a special offer on an infomercial. I've had solar panels for over 15 years, which I installed myself, so I'm probably more informed on what I needed vs. what they were trying to sell. To my pleasant surprise, the package that the sales rep put together was in line with what I wanted. Since this was in addition to the existing panels, which already occupied the prime roof area, the planning and layout was probably more challenging than a standard job. Since PD is a big organization, sales, planning and permitting, and installation were all handled by different departments, but we had a single coordinator that was in communication with us by phone and email as we went through each stage. They were great in getting through the planning and approvals, especially with getting the information for our HOA and interfacing with PG&E. The main installation of the panels and wiring was completed in less than a day! (It took me several days to install my first system, 15 years ago.) After a couple of quick returns to install an additional ground rod and install the monitoring interface, we were done. The improvements in the panels and supporting electronics over the last 15 years is impressive. One of the key factors in deciding to add the extra panels was the low-interest financing. With a 12-year loan, the loan payment is essentially offset by the reduced electricity bill (since it's adding to my exiting system, the savings aren't as great as a new install), but I know that these panels can keep producing way past the last loan payment. But, the main reason I added the panels was to cut down on fossil power. I don't consider myself a tree hugger by any stretch of the imagination, but if I can help slow the meltdown of the planet, even a little, without any dollars out of my pocket, and eventually same some bucks in the process, why not?"

"I liked that the guy got on the roof, took measurements and verified what I told him. There was a problem with wiring across the roof and he did not think he could do it. He then called me back at a later time and told me it would be doable. Nothing that I could think of could be approved on."

"Tony and his assistant were prompt, professional, and performed the work well and left no mess. They installed a new faucet in the master bath, fixed a leak and installed new angle stops and p-trap at the same location; installed new kitchen spray diverter, installed a new toilet fill valve in the master bath. I thought the price was more than reasonable and they are very pleasant people to deal with. I would definitely use their services again and would be happy to recommend them. <br />"
