"My job was actually to have a stamped concrete patio installed. Overall, they did an awesome job! They were able to complete the job about a week prior to what they'd estimated, they arrived when they said they would, and completed the job within the time they said. They were very careful about placing plastic on the driveway and took care in ensuring they did as a little invasion to the area as possible. "Really well - i have used several small landscapers (and even other contractors) over the years, and Josh was by far the best overall experience.  I got his name from a friend who used him for a larger project last year.  I think the price was fair but not cheap, hence my B rating there, but honestly I was not really able to get an equivalent bid from anyone else.  So i could be wrong there.   Overall the experience from sales through design and execution was great.  Josh is knowledgeable and easy-to-work-with, not typical pushy sales.  He worked with us on a great design from my rudimentary sketch, and it turns out to be EXACTLY what we wanted.  We engaged him in the fall, and they were not able to get the project done before winter (although he had never promised to.)  But he said we'd be first on the list in the spring.  He contacted us in March to finalize plans and get a deposit, then got the work done ASAP in mid-April.  They came when they said they would, with a crew of 3 and got the project done in 3 days.  I can't speak to long term quality, but am extremely pleased so far, and hopeful it holds up.   Since this is a front patio, we get many compliments from neighbors on the sidewalk, and have shared Josh's name several times.  Would recommend him highly!  Thanks again, Josh! <br />"

"Went very well. Can't say enough. We had 3 different landscaping companies come in for an initial estimate. We were doing a full lot project and while we had an idea of what we wanted to do, we needed some suggestions and direction on what to do and how to approach. Andy and Jessie listened to what we were looking for and came up with some very concise ideas around what would work and fit our needs. Other companies who came in were frankly all over the place and really didn't seem to listen to what we were looking for. They were unorganized and weren't nearly as concise around what sort of vision they might have for our project. We went ahead and paid Beds and Borders to put together a design for us so we could visualize on paper. They put together a great design/blueprint that we used to make the final decision to go ahead with the project. This included pictures of the plants and trees they were suggesting. A huge help. We replaced our entire front yard with new sod, landscaped a small area by our front entry, landscaped an area by a deck in the back yard. Planted 15 new trees (about 6') for privacy in the back yard and planted 10 arborvitae for privacy in our front yard. Also tore out a small mulched area and seeding with grass. Crew was very much on time, on schedule, and made quick work of the project (barely 4 days). They took great care to minimize any damage to existing lawn, clean everything up at the end of the day, and were super courteous with the way they worked, even making sure not to block the garage/driveway with equipment, etc. We've had plenty of work done around our home and very much appreciate that kind of courteous work- something that's not really expected. Everything looks incredible and will really give us the privacy and outdoor space we're looking for as time goes on. Andy is very knowledgable, is super prompt answering any questions and returning calls/emails, and it's evident he and the rest of the crew have passion for what they do. Would definitely recommend hiring them for any project. Large or small. Only B (Good) rating above is for price. This only reflects they weren't the cheapest. Want to be clear- Cost of our project was very fair, not exorbitant. We would do project with them again and will hire them again in the future. Quality of their work well worth the money."

"Chris came out initially to take a look at the back yard and to discuss the project. I had asked him to put together a design based on some initial ideas and requirements of our own. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about installing patios. We discussed some issues with needing to improve water run off from the back of the house. We were in contact numerous times before start day to refine the design and choose pavers and lighting. Chris was always very responsive to my emails and calls and always pleasant to talk with. On start day, he showed up with his crew and a slew of machinery to excavate and prepare the base for the patio. He worked with me to mark off the perimeter and shape of the patio. When the size of the patio ended up bigger than what I had initially sent as measurements (my error), he didn’t complain- he just said he would order the additional pavers and we’d adjust the final invoice. I had asked him to try and not rip up the surrounding lawn too much and so they laid plywood and made sure that the skidsteers and other trucks stayed on that one small area. This was a real sign of their professionalism to me. I was amazed how the patio took shape in just 1 week. The crew worked through blistering heat and never complained. At the end of week 1, the patio was installed minus the final 4 cap lights since we had to wait for the lights to arrive. I make a partial payment to Chris for the work completed and then 1 week later, he came out and finished the lighting and worked through the electrical hook-ups to the house with our electrician on that day. We used pavers from a vendor who Chris uses and I was pleased with the look of what we chose. The pavers were installed well and Chris used polymeric sand to hold them in place. The job site was cleaned up every night and they moved excavated soil and aggregate base and we never had a “mess” at the house. Part of the project involved them ripping out a concrete landing outside of our adjacent garage access door and I never saw the broken concrete because they just hauled it away. Overall the patio looks incredible and I wouldn’t have asked for a better experience with an installer than what we got with Chris and his crew. I felt that the pricing of the project was very fair and that Chris and his guys were dedicated to finishing the patio as quickly as possible."
