"These guys are great! I would hire them again any time for more work on a patio, or any landscaping needs. We wanted to install a small patio under our deck from our walkout basement. We thought we would get just a small concrete pad, so I called around to several places. Most of them did not call me back, or said the job was too small. Our real estate agent who sold us the house several years ago suggested I contact Patios and More to see about a paver patio. Mike Cordes got back to me almost immediately. He quickly scheduled a time to come out and see what we our space looked like. We liked what he had to say about building a new patio using pavers instead of poured concrete. He developed a plan in about a week along with a cost proposal. He came back out to our house to show us the plan. We liked it and signed the contract. He put us in their schedule for about 6-8 weeks later, and said it would take about three days to complete the job. Instead, they were here in about three weeks and worked a couple of long days to complete the job in only two days! We are quite happy with the final patio. They did a tremendous job. Some key take-aways about this company: - Their cost was quite reasonable for the quality of the final patio. - They are reliable - they show up when they say they will and do what they say they will do. - They did everything we agreed to in the contract with no questions and no changes, and actually went beyond our expectations. - We were particularly impressed with their attention to cleaning up and repairing the lawn. This repair was part of the original contract since they knew they would have to drive a loader across the existing lawn. They repaired everything with high-quality sod so it looks even better than the original lawn. - The entire crew was friendly, professional, and really knew what they were doing. They all seemed happy to answer questions we had as the job proceeded. - They are just a great group of people. We most highly recommend them."

"This spring we were in search of a company to pour a concrete patio as we were removing our old floating deck. We came across Clark Companies at the White Bear Home Show @ The Hippodrome. They followed up promptly afterwards and set a time to come out for a quote. They answered all our questions and helped us envision what it could look like. They were the only company we had out that actually cared (the others you probably hear advertised all the time). "Quick response to our inquiry; punctual for the appointments and to begin the project. Very professional and engaging. Al offered several great ideas and matched our project cost to our budget. Plan was to cut down  all the weed growth on our cliff of a hill, spray everything with weed killer, cover the whole area with dormant seeded crown vetch which would germinate with the spring thaw and retake the hill with a solid ground cover. Unfortunately there is a crown vetch shortage so we are paused after phase 1. We will resume the project in the spring when hopefully the seed product is available. <br />"

"I can’t say enough about the level of professionalism, communication and quality of the work done by Debbie and her teams. We had at any point between one or two teams led by Alex working on our corner property project. They replaced a failing railroad tie retaining wall that covered three sides of our property, which reached 5’ in height in some areas. This required architectural considerations which Debbie handled perfectly. We looked at retaining wall bricks in person at a few different places, and also looked at stair replacements. We communicated with Debbie we wanted the wall even (so it doesn’t look wavy), as we’ve seen some uneven retaining walls walking around. They were paid a lot of attention to detail, and avoided it looking wavy, and made sure we had input all the way through the build. Additionally, they expanded our driveway to allow another car to park, fixed water creeping into my neighbors garage by fixing the grade and redirecting water away from property lines, and replaced our pitted stamped concrete path going up to our house with beautiful herringbone patterned bricks. Debbie also coordinated multiple contractors to manage in ground sprinkler modifications, ULV lighting additions, and replacing my old fence. They were very respectful of our property, and all the plants/gardens they worked around. Their work is top notch, and I would change nothing about my experience, it was exactly what we wanted. I’d use their services again without a doubt!"
