I would highly recommend Premier Paving for ALL of your flat work exterior needs from asphalt paving, concrete & pavers and yes I had them work on my property doing a large driveway replacement and new concrete sidewalk. They are competitively priced and again they RETURN calls, emails & tests."

"The concrete cracked within the first week of being poured and nobody came to fix it. Also beware when dealing with Mike as he will charge you extra $1,000 or probably more to finish the job he starts. Itâ s a common business practice by him as a lot of customers are mentioning the same thing from Yelp, Homeadvisor.com, and Google Reviews. Read the reviews before dealing with Dependable Concrete. As a contractor Mike should know the price of materials beforehand and before quoting the customers. Mike demanded $1,000 more because of the increase of the cement price. Cement shortages have been going on for months and Mike should have taken that into account before giving the quote. Cement shortages aren't recent news. He waited until he removed the old driveway and then as the shady businessman that he is â he demanded extra money to finish the job when I was left with a big hole around my house. Beware as this is common practice by Dependable concrete if you read the reviews. Cement shortages or not â the original quote should have accounted for that. As a customer I donâ t ask my contractor to refund me the money if the price of material goes down in the future. Mike should stick to his original quote and price, but he doesnâ t do that. Stay away from Dependable Concrete â bad business to deal with and very poor quality â concrete cracks within days and nobody will come fix it after they take the money from you."

"I'd really like to give a better review, but the communication with Blue Construction is just bad. I spoke with Nancy & she gave me a date they would start work. Nobody showed up that morning. I called & found out the email telling me a different start date was sent to a wrong email address. They had a completely different customers work order under my name & it took several conversations with them for them to realize this. So most of the information I was given for the first half of the job was incorrect, late, or non existent. I had to call my town to confirm their work passed the initial inspection & call Blue Construction to tell them before they would continue work. They did take $200 off the balance due because of all the issues & that was appreciated. The quality of work is really good. I am extremely pleased with the end result but I don't think I will use them again because of how bad the communication was. Also, I had to call my town after the work was completed to schedule."

"Starting with the estimate (which was comparable to the other estimates I got), Gibran spent more time discussing exactly what I wanted and needed: the old walk was narrow, did I want it widened; squared off or rounded out where it met the garage slab; raising the back walk slightly to eliminate the extra, shallow step at each end; and most usefully, how to work around the 100 year old catalpa, that had lifted and broken the old walk, between it and the house. We ended up adding a curve to the walk, just by the tree, giving it extra space without disturbing the existing tulip bed on the other side of the walk along the house. He and his crew worked quickly and neatly, and did a very nice job. The new walks meet the city sidewalk and garage slab evenly, the curves are smooth, the tree has room, the tulip bed and ivy along the house weren’t disturbed, and now it’s much less of a pain to shovel snow than it used to be! As a bonus, landscaping was not part of the contract, but Gibran found a source of black dirt for us, and when there was a delay (while waiting for the city inspector) after the forms were in place, he and his crew spread the dirt needed to regrade the yard for us, rather than just sit around. I’m very pleased with the work they did for us, enjoyed working with Gibran and his crew, and would definitely recommend 5 Star Concrete & Construction."
