"Once the job started in August, his workers arrived early each morning and worked hard all day. They were also responsive and professional in addressing our questions and concerns. During the week-long job, Vinny came to the house each day to show us pictures of the work in progress and to address any questions that arose. Upon our request, the workers even installed shingles on a Christmas stable we have in our garden! When the work was completed, the workers cleaned up and disposed of the related debris. "We were extremely pleased with work done by Tucek and Sons to replace small flat roof, We listened to several roofers who had different approaches, materials and reasoning but Joe V and his team explained everything so it was understandable without talking down to us. "Roofing work was exceptional. Done in the time frame specified. Very clean work area when done. The copper work was also done very well. The gutter work was a totally other issue. They look great but were installed improperly. Instead of being inserted behind the new metal drip edge, they simply screwed the gutter hangers over the drip edge. Instead of water hitting the fascia and running down into the gutter, it now runs down behind the gutter. Bay roofing had the audacity to tell me that "you could install it that way". I guess you could install shingles upside down, but neither is the correct installation. It should be noted that I have a year of architectural drafting education, built my own home to include installing the roofing and gutters and sent Bay roofing a picture that I obtained by a Google search for the correct installation of gutters. The gutter installers showed up at my home about a week after contacting Bay Roofing, unannounced. My wife who happened to be working from home that day told them they needed to come back on Friday when I would be home. We have never heard from them or Bay Roofing again."
