"I've never had an oriental carpet cleaned before so I didn't know what to ask or ask for. I called ahead and set a time to take it in. The person that helped me was so pleasant and helpful, she even took notes of my requests. I explained that I was having it cleaned and putting it in storage for a year or two. When I explained I was moving in 3 weeks she said she would make it urgent for me. Rather than just roll it up they even added a layer or paper to protect the fibers in storage. Picking it up was equally nice, they carried it out to my car and moved the seats and some boxes around until they could get it in my car without being in my way. Who would think someone was drive away from having a carpet cleaned smiling. Well done PureClean."

I selected him from Angie's list based on his ratings, his nearby location, and his use of non-toxic cleaners. The carpets that we needed cleaned were 1 year old and in almost unused condition (because they are in a part of the house that we don't go into very often). The sole reason I was having them cleaned was to maintain the Stainmaster warranty which requires annual steam cleaning by a professional. The reason I rated the quality and service overall as a B is because the provider did not use any type of protective bumpers around corners and, as a result, his hose broke off a piece of our baseboard which we will need to have replaced."

When the guy arrived, I was told that the deal didn't cover area rugs (not specified on the deal) and also that I would need pre-clean any animal hair (I have dogs) from the bedroom rugs before he could do his cleaning. "John and son inspected our carpets and spent probably 20 minutes there.  They determined that it was not in our best interests to clean them now.  Although he did not want to lose business he did not want to do a job that he felt shouldn't be done and didn't want to take our money.  They even spot cleaned a small trouble spot and refused to take money for it.  They both seemed very knowledgable and professional.  I will call them on the next need.  I can't evaluate the actual job done or cost due to no work being done. <br />"
