"Alex and crew built our front walk and landing pad and rear landing pad from our decks. They were professional in all regards. They started and finished the job on time and were responsive to all our needs. I would definitely hire them for any landscape projects I might have in the future. "

"My best to Sara’s Landscaping - Jose and his team! This was a difficult job as our property was overgrown! Jose started by trimming branches and cutting two large trees back from the roof and away from the house. Next, we had a large area covered in overgrown shrubbery/weeds and other small trees on one side of the property. Jose and his team removed everything and landscaped with new mulch, plants, and shrubs.....and now that area looks beautiful! They also removed 10 large dead and or dying shrubs from the front of the house and replaced with new mulch and beautiful Boxwoods. Additionally, he trimmed multiple overgrown Barberry and Burning Bush shrubs to a more appropriate size, and then weeded and mulched in that area as well. Lastly, a new drainage system was installed (including digging the drainage ditch) to carry water away from the house that gets pumped out via sump-pump and from the rain gutters. Overall, we are extremely pleased! Jose came with many solutions for this very difficulty job and completed the work quickly! The price was very competitive! We highly recommend Sara’s Landscaping!!!! Thank you :-))"

"First thing they did was to make up a brochure with a color picture of how it would look when done which was beautiful. Dan seemed very professional and started the job as agreed. In the process of moving boulder rocks they broke the electric line going to our garden lights. Two of the rose bushes that they planted died before the year was up. When I called Dan, he said that they guaranteed none of their plantings but they would replace them only because we did the work on fixing the electric line that they broke. Two more of my plants(Grey Owl Junipers) died over the past winter and when I looked them up on the computer it says that they should be planted in a warmer zone. It was not a cold winter here in the Poconos but they died anyway. I spoke to another nursery and he said he had never heard of Grey Owl Junipers being planted in this area. In addition, I asked over and over again for another picture like the one they gave me originally which I lost, but they refused to do so. I would think it shouldn't be difficult to make a copy of the original picture."

"<strong>useWe were extremely pleased with how friendly everyone was.  No questions.  No complications.  Two gentlemen showed up and asked where the debris was and they immediately jumped in!  They loaded up the truck and drove off with a smile.  It was the easiest part of remodeling our new home.  Thank you, FADE!</strong> <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Stroudsburg, PA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
