The work they did was extensive--repairing 80 year old stone walls, widening our driveway and installing pavers instead of asphalt, reconstructing and reconfiguring the stairs coming down to the driveway, excavating and rebuilding walls. Their communication was excellent. They were fast but didn't cut a single corner. They worked closely with us to track down pavers that would match the walkway we had put in years ago. They added underground drainage from downspouts. And they are such nice guys! We have already arranged for them to do more work for us. I would recommend them without hesitation. "The owner Joe, seal coated our double driveway personally. Joe had completely excavated our previous driveway and replaced it with an expanded new one. He was on time for the date that we had scheduled. He used the highest quality sealer, known as Liquid Gold. Joe was meticulous in the application of the sealer and made sure the job was neat and clean upon completion. The end result was a professional driveway in both function and appearance. "We called Ranieri Construction because a combination of ground settling and a sloppy repair made our concrete pool deck not only cracked and uneven, but also unsightly. Lou Ranieri explained that they couldn’t fix the cracks as they were, but would have to remove the filler from the first repair, grind down the uneven surfaces and stain the whole surface to achieve an even color. Once the plan was in motion, Andrew Ranieri worked tirelessly to grind down and level all the surfaces – this man is a definite perfectionist and the even surface is better than we ever thought was possible. A skim coat was applied and, once hardened, the whole area was cleaned and stained. It’s beautiful! We can’t say enough about how diligent Lou and Andrew are in their, often backbreaking, work. "The estimate was casual and in-person, the owner of the company came to look over everything himself, give me options, and we discussed prices on the spot. We had to wait a couple months until the ground had thawed, but the crew arrived on the day they said, and set to work. The old retaining wall was removed, the earth was dug up and drainage was put in, then a new wall. All the work was done in two days, and they cleaned up everything after themselves. <br /> There was a very large boulder to one side, and I expected that to be removed to make way for the wall, but it would have been a lot more money to blast it out, so it made sense to keep it, and they added some field stones around it to make it blend in, and I like the way it ended up looking in the end. <br /> The wall is beautiful and fits in with the landscape. Rather than just go with one color of blocks all the way through, they mixed in a few off color stones, and I was concerned, but I really like the look. Two years later, the wall is still perfectly straight and level and is draining properly. <br /> They did end up stealing one of my shovels though! Well, it was out in the yard and they packed it up with the rest of their gear. They brought it back the next day, and they left me the spare pieces of bluestone that weren't used. I'm using them for stepping stones in the garden. <br /> Thye may not be for you if you're a control freak: If you want a team of designers to draft up perfectly measured and drawn plans that you can look over, with everything measured to the inch, you may want to go with a different design company. Well, they might offer this, but its not what they did for me- the planning stage was informal and loose. But if you are willing to let some professionals with a lot of experience to take your suggestions and needs and do what will work best for your yard and budget, and trust them, you'll end up with some really nice work. <br /> Ill definitely use Best Hands again when I need a new walkway. <br />"

"Jason and co-workers did an excellent job removing and replacing a garage floor that was beyond repair and installing a new concrete surface under a deck. The work was done over three days, as it involved removal of concrete and excess dirt, installation of subsurfaces, installation of wire mesh reinforcement in the garage, and finally pouring of concrete. They also repaired the foundation and shored it up on the downhill side when they discovered that this was necessary, for no additional cost. The work area was cleaned up to the extent possible after the first and second days, and completely after the job was completed. The finished surfaces are beautiful, and I have confidence that they will last for a very long time. I would give Kirby Masonry my highest recommendation."

"Joe Falco was absolutely wonderful to work with. Joe came to our home and we explained what we needed done and Joe said he could remove the 3 large concrete slabs with no problem.The day Joe came to do the job, I could not believe how fast the job went. He arrived at 7:30 am and he was done at 8:05 am. Joe was a life saver because no one wanted to do the job of removing the concrete. I would give Joe Falco a 10++++++ for a job well done.If you need a mason or concrete removed, call Joe, you will not be disappointed with his work."

"Steve and Curt appear to be knowledgeable and experienced in their field of work.  Moreover, they are friendly and very easy to communicate with. Although the work has not yet been started, they have given me good information and reassurance  that there is a workable solution to a significant problem. (This is an old stone cottage that was actually built on a spring. ) Steve and Curt were candid about potential approaches that would or would not be a good use of money for me, the consumer. Although I have not yet seen the end result,  I worked in the construction trades for many years, and I believe I have a "true read" on these guys.  Plus, they seem to actually care about what they do (!), and that goes a long way.
