"The entire project went very well. Consultant Bob Eversman was very prompt and thorough for our first meeting. He advised that colors are limited due to production cutbacks as a result of Covid. We decided on a color, but using the online tool supplied in the brochure that allowed us to see our house with one or two other colors, we decided on a color change later, and there was no problem. The "team" came right on schedule, and we were amazed at how professional and diligent they were in completing our 1700 plus sq ft home in one day. We were visited the next day by a gentleman who checked on everything and decided that we needed one more nail sweep. This is the one caveat I would mention. We have continued to find roofing nails, so I would caution the homeowner to make certain nail removal is thorough no matter who your roofer may be. We were contacted several times through the process to make certain things were going well, and the one or two times we mentioned something, it was taken care of immediately. Warranties were provided immediately as well. The dumpster was removed on the 2nd day following completion of the roof. We are happy to have a new roof, and pleased to have one that looks very nice. It was done promptly and at a fair price. Reroofing isn't something a homeowner looks forward to, but you will do yourself a favor if you choose Stratus Roofing. c"

"Extremely well. I had contacted several companies/contractors for estimates for a new roof. The estimates were provided in a timely manner. However, the time for the actual work was a problem. You see our homeowners insurance company was leaving Florida and the new insurance carriers felt a new roof was needed and gave us less than two weeks to complete. During this time, we checked on Angie’s List. In less than three hours, Joe McGinnis with Renewpro responded. Joe come by, looked at what was needed and gave us an estimate. He gave us a day to discuss. In the meantime, we researched all the companies we had received estimates. Only Renewpro was listed with the Better Business Bureau and Angie’s List. Rating was A+ with both. Plus our new insurance company knew of them. So within two days we had an agreement. We were given a time up to four weeks to be completed. Joe took care of the permit application and ordering all the supplies. The supplies came in earlier than expected as well as he permit. Joe was able to complete our roof, have it inspected within the deadline. If and when, we should need a full roof, Renewpro will be the company we contact. We attempted to pay a deposit more than once. Mr McGinnis would only take payment upon completion and satisfaction. "Joe had a crew of four men on the job every day, and was generally on the roof with them most of the time.  In the course of tearing off the old roofing, they found a great deal of damaged and rotten wood, and set about repairing it as rapidly as they found it.  By the time they finished, they had replaced 13 full sheets of plywood and 150 feet of 2 x 4's -- and I wondered how bad the time and materials charge was going to be.  It turned out to be less than $1500 above the agreed-to price, and I was very pleased. <br /> The job was finished in four days and the final product was a great new roof. <br /> I think the one thing that impressed me the most about the workmanship of the crew was that every day they spent roughly the last half hour cleaning up the worksite, including rolling their large magnet completely around the house to ensure that there were few, if any, nails or other metal objects lying around to puncture an unsuspecting human of canine foot ! <br /> Joe Bouolais has all the equipment necessary to do all his work -- including a large dump truck that remained on site throughout the project to handle all the removed materials, including all of the wrapping papers for the "peel and stick" underlayment and the the wrapping on the actual shingle bundles.  At the completion of the work, the crew did an extremely thorough inspection of the property, even hand picking small pieces of roofing materials out of the flower beds,  The truck was then carefully covered with a large tarp for a trip to the local dump.  He also has a work trailer with all of his tools, including a gasoline powered air compressor for his many nail guns, that remained on site for the entire job. <br /> In summary, I could not have been more satisfied with the job done by Joe Boulais and his crew and can recommend Boulais Roofing to others without hesitation.  They do extremely quality work. <br />"

"Within 15 minutes after sending my message, they called me to explain that there is a large backlog of work and they have temporarily stopped accepting new jobs. They suggested an alternate contractor and told me that if I did not have the repair done in 4 weeks that the Roof Doctor should be available by then. While on the phone, they asked questions about the water damage to help with my troubleshooting. After I explained the issue, they suggested that a common cause for these small stains is air conditioner coolant lines running through the attic. The lines are cold and (if the insulation is old/damaged) water condenses on them from the humid Florida air. That drips onto onto the back side of your ceiling, then boom, water damage. I know that there are coolant lines above the leak so will be going up in the attic soon to check whether the moisture came from the roof or the lines. Best part of all this is that the AC is very old so I was already saving to replace it. I am very pleased by their responsiveness and customer service, even when they aren't going to make any money from me. I will be going to the Roof Doctor first for any future roof issues."
