We have used Shimon Aviksis from Aviksis Plumbing for two different situations.  Last Nov, he replaced a water heater. We called him on Wednesday morning, the day before Thanksgiving.  He promptly scheduled an appointment for that afternoon.  We were pleased that he could respond so quickly.  Within an hour, Shimon called back suggesting that he come instead that morning since he was concerned that a storm expected for the afternoon might prohibit him from getting to us. After texting him a photo of the heater we needed replaced, he arrived with a new heater and had it installed by noon (I think snow started falling shortly after).

Our next opportunity to use Aviksis Plumbing was in February of this year for a leaking rinse hose.  Over the phone, Shimon provided us with a "work around" while we had the hose on order.  The hose arrived Thursday afternoon and Shimon had it installed by 9AM Friday. 

A really nice guy who efficiently does very good work.  While these issues have been annoyances, we now have a great plumber we feel we can rely on.

"The job was fairly straightforward and I had already procured the sink and most of the additional supplies but the job required some replumbing of both the water supply and drain. The master plumber worked efficiently and professionally and the job was completed in a few hours. The cost was determined from a standard table in a notebook but does not take into account the complexity of the job or whether materials are supplied by owner. Since I supplied most of the materials (plumber supplied valves and pipe and drain fittings) the price seemed rather high for around 3 hours work. However, I've had no professional plumbing work done recently and thus have nothing to compare it to. The plumber was very pleasant and professional and the work of high quality.
