"Marsha and her team did OUTSTANDING work at my house. The job was flawless from start to finish. Marsha is a dream to work with, has a fantastic personality, she really knows her stuff and loves what she does. Contacting her and getting responses--super easy. The pavers were ordered and came in with zero drama. The team got in, got the job done and were gone in no time at all. The crew works well together, all the guys are so nice, everyone is happy (which, to me, says a lot!) and they really seem like they love what they do. They work smart, clean, left ZERO mess. I can only say good things. I am BEYOND HAPPY with their work. That being said, I am a very "particular" person, I like what I like THE WAY that I like it and Marsha delivered. I absolutely LOVE my new patio and driveway, and I highly recommend Exotic Pavers!"

"I am very, very pleased. Mitch worked with me to keep my cost down and allowed a number of choices for me to do so. The job was done very quickly and the team was a group of very polite and hardworking men who are very good at what they do. Mitch is thorough and when two of the paving stones cracked, he came back and personally reset the new ones. Mitch also provided me advise for how I can improve the path next year. I would not hesitate to hire him again and will recommend his crew to others."

"Overall the job went very well. I normally don't take this long to leave a review, but the job was performed a few months back. At first the wrong size door was picked up, but upon trying to install realized a custom size was needed, the only negative was the amount of time it took from intital contact to installation due to all of the issues. After some talking, they were able to bring the price down a bit for me due to the inconvenience. It was installed prior to the cold weather and am noticing now that it's rubbing a bit on the frame due to the heat, but I plan on contacting soon. Overall very responsive, courteous, and professional."

"Howard Lawn & Landscaping just finished our project in which two water features were added to the backyard. It was a great experience from beginning to end working with them and Jessica Howard especially. Jessica had creative ideas and drew up a beautiful plan. She met with us several times at the stone yards for material selection; I felt during our meetings that she was attuned to what we were looking for in the final result. The work began and finished on time according to the schedule as she projected. She kept in touch with us during the installation in case we wanted any adjustments/changes and for questions. They were all we could have hoped for in terms of responsiveness, clarity in terms of scope of work/warranty, and cost. The project could not have turned out any better!"

"I had purchased trees from here twice before. This time my answers about a dead tree that I purchased two years ago were very lacking on any concern of the problem. I still purchased a different type of tree to replaced the dead one. On delivery day, since I had the hole ready for the new tree, the planting went fast. They spent no time making sure the dirt around the new tree roots was packed down. This should have been done. My appointment was in the morning, and finally I called at noon and was told they should be there shortly. Well finally I called again at 2:30 to find that they hadn't left with my tree yet. I think I was forgot on the schedule. <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Wauseon, OH

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
