"Tom and his crew were amazing! My roof was old and tired and had started leaking pretty badly. I met with 6 roofing companies in total to get estimates and have the roof tarped until I could get it replaced. Tom's estimate fell in the middle ground pricing wise, but I was comfortable with him from the start because he was professional, nice, knowledgeable and seemed to honestly want me to understand the problems and process. He took the time to sit down with me, show me pictures of my problem areas and explain the technicalities in layman's terms without making me feel like he was talking down to me. He was always prompt and responsive in our communications including any random questions that I had for him. The entire job only took them about 5 1/2 hours start to finish. Extremely neat crew with one guy that stayed on the ground with a magnet picking up every scrap and nail that hit the floor for the entire length of time they were here. Several of our quotes were around the same price, but Tom who lives locally was able to convince me that they could do the job within a few days, as well as include all the things we wanted done in the price. Jacob patiently explained the process for roof removal installation to my wife and me, and then his team installed the roof exactly as explained. The roof had a number of different pitches and valleys which were addressed properly. JI installed ridge vents on three separate ridges, replaced an old gable vent, and correctly applied roofing to existing gutter helmets. JI removed a large, old, non-functional solar collector and an attic fan from the roof at no extra charge, which enabled a better roof installation. JI replaced an old skylight and trimmed / painted the interior skylight surround as needed. Upon completion of the roof installation, the JI team went through several rounds of cleanup, to ensure that the surrounding lawn and garden were free from debris.
