"David showed up right on time. He explained all the work he would perform. He did an excellent job with dryer vent cleaning. Did not try to take any shortcuts. Gutter cleaning was done to my satisfaction. Would definitely hire them again."

"I needed to change house cleaners because my previous one wasn't doing a thorough job, and saw the great reviews for Nice & Clean on Angie's List. When I contacted Carlos, he immediately responded and set up a time to look at the house. He was so courteous and pleasant, extremely conscientious and polite. We walked through the house, and he explained how they clean, and asked if there were any items they needed to pay more attention to, or be extra careful with. I loved his professionalism. Though his prices may be slighter higher than others (not by much -- and appreciate that he wants to pay his staff fair wages), I knew I'd be in good hands considering how much Carlos cared about making sure they did a good job. So, they first came to do a deep cleaning, which was excellent, and Carlos came through to review the work. I now use them on a regular basis! Honestly, I can't remember in any industry, even hospitality, where I've gotten this level of high quality customer service! Really beyond my expectations and kudos to Carlos for being so upstanding, courteous and professional!"

"Highly professional. Have a full team that completes the job in the timeframe given when he gives the estimate of time started and finishes. Even recommends other ideas and material for you to look at if existing matching wood etc..no longer available. Highly professional. I highly would recommend for any project needed. When job is finished the.cleanup is impeccable. Very reasonable in price in comparison to others."

FAQs for post construction clean up projects in Woodbridge, VA

Plan on one hour of cleaning for every 100 to 200 square feet. That means a two-to-four-person crew will spend eight to 12 hours on a full-size home.

Your pro will walk the space first, size it up, and give you a more precise timeline to be sure every lofty ceiling, baseboard, and tight corner gets the same white-glove attention.

Cleaning fine dust after construction requires a combined approach of detailed dusting and high‐powered vacuuming. Begin by wiping high surfaces such as ceiling fans, walls, window sills, and countertops to eliminate deposited particles. Next, vacuum all floors, carpets, and hard surfaces and mop afterward to remove residual dust. Finally, clean HVAC returns, supply vents, and replace filters to ensure a completely dust‐free environment.

You’ll need safety gear and heavy-duty tools. At minimum, you should wear a respirator, eye protection, and work gloves. Then, bring in a HEPA-filter shop vac, wet mops, microfiber cloths, and a carpet shampooer to lift dust from every surface.

Pros also keep extra filters and trash bags on hand so they can swap them out mid-job and keep the cleanup running smoothly from start to finish.

Book your post-construction cleanup for one to two days after the last tool leaves the site. That 24- to 48-hour buffer lets dust settle so the crew can snag every speck in one visit.

Touch base with your contractor before you lock in a date; if their punch-list slips, you’ll want to shift the cleaning slot to avoid costly rescheduling and make sure the house is truly move-in ready.
