"Airco is a great family-owned and operated business, very fair and knowledgeable. They replaced our forced air central heating system (oil) in a day, and were quick to respond and get to work despite how busy things were during the January cold-spell. I would highly recommend for your heating and cooling needs!"

"Genove Oil & Air recently installed central air conditioning in our home. This was a full install including duct work, the air handler and condenser unit. The men were reliable, proficient, meticulous and polite. We interviewed 5 companies, including 3 Carrier and 2 Lennox Dealers. Genove’s quote was not only extremely competitive, but Armando’s eye for detail and his sense of aesthetics were superior to the other companies. I highly recommend Genove Oil & Air without hesitation."

"Diagnosis and repair were straightforward and the talented Mike, who has done other great work for us on our ACs, had a replacement pump in his truck. Swapped over in under an hour. Cost of the repair was quite high, mainly due to very high price they charged for the pump. A Taco pump that I could buy for $175 was priced on this repair at more than $500. I get that it was an urgent situation and I’m happy to pay reasonably for the response but that mark-up bothered me. I called the office, had a long talk with the owner; sadly, she offered no consideration at all. Yes, it’s hard to find and keep skilled techs, but now seems that most HVAC firms have a business model like a car dealer’s service dept, far more corporate, less flexible or customer-considerate."

"Five Star Service! Total Comfort Mechanical planned, designed, and installed a Mitsubishi Intelli-Heat system at our home in Melrose. They seamlessly combined our existing gas furnace and ducted system with an efficient Mitsubishi heat pump to create a hybrid heating and AC system. The team exceeded our expectations. They are honest, respectful, and always maintained a positive and professional attitude. They did everything they said they would do and even went above and beyond. The technicians are skilled and dedicated, often working long hours to ensure the job was done right. We were impressed by their commitment to keeping our work sites clean at the end of each day. The planning was meticulous, the communication was excellent, and the final delivery exceeded our expectations. We can confidently recommend Total Comfort Mechanical for any heating and air conditioning projects. Thank you, Wendell and team, for making our home more comfortable and efficient!"

"I would highly recommend Dodge Cooling and Heating. They did a Spring tune up on my central air conditioning system and were extremely responsive, prompt, professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely use them for any future heating and A/C needs that I may have."

"We've used Atlantic Heating and Air Conditioning for over 10 years for regular air conditioning maintenance/service and repairs. They also do service/repairs for our heating system. Recently, they provided valuable advice that allowed us to fix a thermostat malfunction on our own, saving us cost of a visit. We've always been satisfied with this company - visits were easy to schedule, staff were knowledgeable, work performed was well done."

"Peter did an excellent job tuning up my A/C system. He was extremely diligent in making sure my A/C unit was up to speed for cooling for the upcoming summer weather. I know I will most likely need a new system installed in the near future as this one is on it's last legs. I know who to call when I need a new A/C unit installed and it will be Peter!"

"Great guy, very knowledgeable and delivers what he promises. I wanted to replace three boilers that showed severe carbon build-up on the units. Jeff explained the carbon build-up was do to lack of make up air being delivered to the space. Even through I had duct work bringing fresh air into the space it was not sufficient. Jeff recommended high-efficiency combo heater / water units with direct vents and introduced me to MassSave for 0% loan and rebates for each unit. I had a difficult situation with a multi-family home trying to replace three boilers and three water heaters simultaneously with cold weather starting to settle in and occupied units. Obviously I didn't want to leave my tenants without heat or hot water. Jeff formulated a plan that would minimize the down time I would be without both, he work diligently to execute that plan and he delivered as promised. In addition he was extremely helpful coordinating with National Grid to ensure they did their part and didn't cause any delays. If your looking for a heating contractor with integrity, is knowledgeable, listens to your concerns, explains what he's doing and why, and delivers on his promises, look no further than Jeff Griffin."

"My central AC unit has been broken for several years. intermittently working during hot summers. I've had several HVAC companies come to diagnose and all of them told me different things: replace the whole system, new lines, etc. potentially costing tens of thousands of dollars. So I decided to troubleshoot by myself and pinpointed the issue: the filter dryer needed to be replaced. No company wanted to do this small job. I called Emerald HVAC and told them about my issue, they sent in José, who diagnosed the issue to be what I said. He replaced the filter dryer and the AC unit works perfectly now after several years! In short, Emerald HVAC will be my first choice for any HVAC work in the future. They are honest, professional, and reasonably priced. I recommend them without reservation!"

"On the day that the heat pump is installed, request that Paul or Daniel be there at the end of the installation to go over all the details on how to operate the complicated thermostat. Paul and Daniel will answer all questions, but those who install the pump do not handle thermostat questions. And the maker of this thermostat, like the makers of all modern thermostats, does not provide a manual or a clear explanation on-line. This lack of manual and on-line instructions is exceptionally frustrating, which is why staff like Paul and Daniel are essential on the day of installation."
