"Originally I called for a diagnostic of my AC unit, which was doing a terrible job cooling my house. Nikita did the diagnostic-turns out the coolant was leaking, a coil needed to be replaced, and not to mention the thing was from the 1990's. We decided to replace and upgrade it, as well as our furnace, since we froze last winter (turns out it was badly rusted on the inside and emitting CO into the house, which NO ONE found last winter (had it looked at by 4 different people and everyone said there was nothing wrong except that the BTU's were too small for the size of the house). Roy was so awesome, because even though they couldn't schedule us for the next 3 weeks, he made sure we stayed cool-he filled up the coolant and came over to the house a couple times when the AC stopped working. I will be keeping him as our heating and cooling guy!"

"Chris, the owner, was very knowledgeable about the type of furnace we needed, as well as could afford. He knew how big it should be for the size of the house. We have been using it this winter and even in the coldest period, it kept the temperature perfect. Chris did the install in minimal time and with professionalism. He even put in a flap, so that if we wanted to use our wood furnace it would close off the gas furnace flu, so the electronics would not overheat. We were very comfortable with him in our home."

"Sounds like an easy job, huh? Well, if you consider the original 4" duct work was placed in a 3" back wall of the laundry room, up the wall, over the attic to somewhere, but who knew where. I emailed the Handyman connection from Angie's List. They called the next day to schedule an appointment and tell me who to expect. Barry called to let me know he was on his way for our scheduled estimate. He showed up on time, courteous, and sensible. After looking over the situation, Barry's common sense said, to just run the dryer vent the shortest route to the exterior of the home. After a short call to quote a price, Barry was patient as I changed my mind about half of the job. Another quick phone call and Barry was able to give me another quote and we scheduled the work for three days later. So, fast forward three days, Barry again called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. He showed up on time. Barry went right to work, but stopped quickly as he began to drill into the wall hit something flexible in the wall. After further investigation, it turned out Barry found the other end of the original duct work! Never the less, he corrected the existing problem and finished the job and cleaned up afterwards.
