"I was so pleased with this company, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.  I have a rental property in Casselberry, and my tenant called me at 6:45 pm  to say the air conditioner wasn't working.  I immediately got on Angies List and began researching air conditioning companies.  I was a little panicked, because it was so late, 7:10 pm, by the time I made the decision to call Matthew Roberts Inc,  I'm so glad I did.  I called and left a message, hoping for a call back first thing Tuesday morning.  I was amazed to get a call back at 7:20 pm,  from a very nice gentleman named Bill, who said he was only about 20 minutes away, and could go by right then.  He explained it would be a higher price  for the after hours service call, so I could make the decision to wait.  The difference was 35.00 an hour more, and seemed quite reasonable, especially since It was my tenant.  Bill went by, introduced himself, and began to diagnose the problem and repair it.  My tenant was thrilled with his professionalism and courteous manner.  The repair took a little over an hour and was well worth the price.  He explained what the issue was to both of us and gave my tenant advice on how to avoid the issue in the future.  I will only use Matthew Roberts Inc for any future air conditioning issues I may have.

"Service One has been wonderful to work with, both for our plumbing and air conditioning matters. Our A/C had 3 leaks in it, and Duke Energy failed to cover these damages despite the fact I had purchased a coverage plan with them. ServiceOne gave me a great quote and our technician Otto was super knowledgeable, personable and all around a great person whom we felt very confident with. I received another quote from Ferran that was nearly $1,000 more than what ServiceOne quoted, and for a unit that wasn't as efficient. The A/C is working great, they have a great warranty plan for it, and have always been very timely in returning calls in the past. "I selected Wesley Whitson AC Heating Services over two other AC Contractors. He made my choice very easy. He was very knowledgeable and honest, answered any questions I had, never rushed or made me feel that I was taking up too much of his time, and always returned my calls very promptly. His price was all inclusive at a significantly lower price than my other quotes for an identical system, and he did not try to add any unnecessary items to the job, in fact, he gave me very good reasons why some of the items I thought I wanted were not really necessary. I also really liked the fact that his quote included the EXACT model numbers of the equipment he would be installing ! I contacted Wes on a Friday afternoon to to schedule the job (a new Amana Heat Pump and Air Handler to replace my dying 17 year old system), and he was able to schedule the job for the next business day ! His crew (Kyle and Zack) showed up on time and as promised, on the following Monday, to install my new system ! I am very happy that I went with the Variable Speed system with Humidity Control and ComfortNet thermostat. Wes was right about the Humidity control keeping things comfortable. We used to set our old system at 73 deg...the new system is set at 77 deg and 55% humidity (as suggested by installer Kyle), and it feels very comfortable (nice and quiet too) ! After the installation was complete, Kyle gave a very good explanation on the operation and settings of the ComfortNet Thermostat. I am VERY happy with my new system !"

"One of the machines is called an air handler. I don't know if that's the one that is outside or inside. We have the big fan that moves the air placed outside and there are 2 big pieces. I found Prestige in our phone book and I just got lucky. Our air-conditioner broke down on a Friday afternoon and even though it was November, it was quite warm here in South Florida. The gentleman came later in the afternoon around 5 o'clock. He measured everything, checked out the old air-conditioner and told us that the motor had burnt out. We wondered what the smoky smell was. He replaced both the outside and the inside pieces. They came out even though it was at the end of their day to see if they could fix it to make it last through the weekend. Of course they couldn't with the motor being burnt up. They measured everything square footage to the house and let us know what was available that they had that they could bring out the next Monday. They gave us the Florida break. It was like a rebate, the max p&l, for putting in a new A/C. He made sure we had the paperwork for that and gave it to us right on the billing. A crew of people came the next Monday and took all the old stuff out and put in the new stuff. They completed the work in 2 hours and we had A/C."

"I got several different estimates for replacing my 1992 Carrier central heat an air conditioning Unit. Anywhere from from $20,000 down to $6000. I looked at ratings on Homeadvisor.com and Angieslist, and Shaan at Monarch had the best price and some of the most satisfied customers. The installer Adam and his partner were very professional and willing to answer questions as they were working. After the install Shaan came by and did a very thorough inspection prior to activating the unit for the first time. I am very happy with the Midrange Lennox Elite 16 SEER unit so far. Other other companies wanted to tear out the wall in the heater cabinet,so they could install larger units but Shaan was willing to work with the space I had available. It's very nice to work directly with the owner of the company and not a sales person. Thanks to Shaan and his installers for a great job"
