"I waited a year and a half to file this review to be fair about my comments. I was at first put off by the fact that the son came over to give an estimate and he wrote about 15 words and a 16,000 dollar estimate with no description of the equipment or what all was included. He was strongly recommended by a friend so I went ahead and approved heat and air and new ductwork in my old 1954 3 bedroom house. He had an adequate crew to do the work and his father was very friendly. The work was adequate but after the job I found a lot to be desired. They left a lot of debris in the attic like old ductwork for me to remove. At every place they removed my freshly installed attic insulation to install new ducts and return duct they left all the insulation thrown about and nothing covering the areas around the ducts so I had to lowcrawl through the attic under all those ducts and reinstall all that insulation, which at my age (70 yrs old) that was no pleasure I can assure you. "Project: Install a new HVAC for upstairs. Kevin came Friday afternoon to evaluate our needs and quoted me the pros/cons/prices for two different brands of HVAC. I selected the Goodman units and we agreed on installation to begin the following Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. with an estimate of 5 hours for completion. He arrived a few minutes early on Tuesday and completed the installation an hour ahead of schedule. He and his helper were very professional, courteous and helpful. The results have surpassed my expectation."

"This job is to fully replace furnace, air conditioning and ductwork plus adding additional cooling. Signed the contract on Tuesday morning and six hours later, my compressor gave up the ghost. Called J&J Burk representative, and they arranged a service call early the next day at my request. Confirmed the compressor had blown up and installed temporary AC units in two rooms to tide us over. In addition, the main project was scheduled for Monday, 30 March but the contractor offered to start the next day, Thursday 26 March. The work has moved along very smartly and I would give them a SIX on a scale of Five. The technicians are skillful, courteous and keep me informed at all times as to the progress. Looks like the estimated 5 work days will shrink to four, but not certain. Still, I am VERY impressed with this contractor and would recommend them any time. This is from a retired Civil Engineer who used to write contracts and specification for this sort of work at a nearby Air Force Base. This work is top-notch."
