"We were very pleased with the quick response, detailed information, professional and courteous staff at all levels. Our old furnace died in November on a Friday. Other businesses couldn't get anyone out to repair and replace it for 2-3 weeks. Ranger had it replaced on Monday for us. This week our electronic air filter quit working. Again we had a quick response with a simple fix at no charge. All of our questions were answered fully and information given about the latest models but with no pressure to buy. We will absolutely use Ranger again and refer our friends and family to them."

"My furnace quit working on Sunday.  I mentioned this to a friend of mine, and he suggested Pacific Air.  First thing Monday morning I called them.  Ashley answered on her cell phone, as she wasn't in the office yet.  I made an appointment for that afternoon. Later that morning, I got a call that Bill was in the area and could come out right away.  So in about 3 hours after I called, my furnace was fixed.  Bill suggested that my 22 year old furnace needed a complete maintenance tune up.  So Tuesday morning William came and clean and adjusted the furnace.  I am very pleased with the prompt  and courteous service.  The price seems reasonable too.

"My complaints are: 1. He was allotted too much time and had no where to go (I guess) so stayed and talked and talked. I on the other hand had an appointment so was getting concerned about the time.
2. Since the thermostat matter only took a few minutes, I asked him to check the furnace and air conditioner for me. He did so but it was in such a perfunctory manner, as to not be of any value. He was done in seconds.
3. He was very nice in that he tried to explain the necessary steps for settings on the thermostat (it is far more detailed then necessary for my lifestyle) but then repeated it over and over again. Adding new facts, leaving out others. By the time he left, I had lost the jest of what he had said. Once good demonstration would have done it.
4. The most annoying of all was the way he tried to sell me their Service Plan. When he first started his spiel, I told him in no uncertain terms that I do not buy those, never have, never well. That did not seem to stop the sales pitch. It continued onward. Finally, it seemed to come to an end, only to reemerge later on. I know they make commissions off these plans but don't believe that a visit that I am paying for, should include being pounded about something that will generate more income to them.

"Best price for unit and installation of the companies I looked into, but customer service left something to be desired. Took a very long time to get someone out to install the new filter set up at the air intake, with poor communication on their part. That part of the job was done poorly and had to be redone at my insistence. Also had the red warning light come on. Called about that and no follow through. Again. Really wanted to like these guys, but unimpressed with the experience."
