"Went very well.  We got hosed at the last minute by another electrician who had done work for us in the past.  After having the work scheduled for two months in advance, we got a call at 3:45 on the Friday before the work was to commence on Monday.  The electrician hadn't pulled a permit nor had he arranged for the power drop.  Apparently he expected me to do both even though the quote clearly states that they would do it.  I think they just completely forgot about our job and then refused to apologize, take responsibility, or remediate.  Anyway, S H Lowerys Electric got fired from the job. 
OnTime stepped up to the plate and worked to our schedule to get the work done quickly and as contracted.  They pulled the permit and confirmed the scheduling of the power drop.  Jeff and Bobby were exactly on time.  They worked like crazy.  They kept us informed throughout.  They cleaned up nicely.  There was no foul language, spitting, or other ungentlemanly behavior.  They were respectful of us and our property. 
We ran into a problem with the city of Birmingham inspector.  He couldn't find anything wrong with the work so the fool dreamed up some imaginary problem with the transformer at the pole -- which had absolutely NOTHING to do with the work that was done in the house.  We ended up spending a night in the dark.  Thankfully our neighbors allowed us to run an extension cord to keep the refrigerator running.  It was actually kinda fun.  OnTime coordinated the Alabama Power engineer and a reinspection the following day with an inspector who actually knew what he was doing.  Even though the night of darkness had nothing to do with OnTime or their work, they knocked $200 off of our bill for the inconvenience.  We probably should have paid them extra for having to deal with the first dolt...I mean, inspector. 
We got three quotes.  OnTime was the highest of the three -- and there was a large margin between the lowest and highest.  However, they were the most professional, the best communicators, and the smartest.  Plus, they made themselves available on short notice and in the narrow time frame that we got jammed into.  We have some follow-on work at the house and at a couple of commercial buildings.  We will give them an opportunity to quote.  We would not expect them to be the lowest but they would probably end up being the best value in terms of quality, reliability, and professionalism which would give them the edge over lower bidders.

"Jeff, the technician, arrived on time and checked the unit. He cleaned the drain line from the unit and dried out the drain pan and inside of unit. He checked the A-coil, found it needed cleaning, and took pictures with his phone to show me the condition. He gave options for different levels of service and provided prices for each so I could decide which to choose. He cleaned the coil and took more pictures to show me the difference. He also added brackets to hold the air filter in place securely. Jeff was thorough, patient, and answered all my questions. After the service, there was a definite improvement in air flow inside the house. I will call them again."
