"I recently bought a house with an 11-year-old AC system. A home inspection revealed that the condenser just wasn't cooling the air as it should, meaning that it either needed to be recharged or replaced. I called a few service providers to find out how much it would cost to evaluate and First Class responded with the least expensive service call and same-day service -- in the rain no less! The technician showed up right on time and had all the right tech gear to measure air temperature and humidity, coolant pressure and weight - explaining what he was doing and why.  Ultimately, he recharged my system with 2.25 pounds of R22  (again, outside in the rain), and charged just for the refrigerant and not an additional amount for the service call. When asked for his advice, he gave helpful pros and cons of maintaining an old system vs. purchasing a new one.
