Our A/C had 3 leaks in it, and Duke Energy failed to cover these damages despite the fact I had purchased a coverage plan with them. ServiceOne gave me a great quote and our technician Otto was super knowledgeable, personable and all around a great person whom we felt very confident with. I received another quote from Ferran that was nearly $1,000 more than what ServiceOne quoted, and for a unit that wasn't as efficient. The A/C is working great, they have a great warranty plan for it, and have always been very timely in returning calls in the past. "Had service star Air & heating replace a 5 ton and 2.5 ton and two air handlers that had gone bad. Louis Ratti told me it would take his crew about 8 hours to completed the job from 9:am to 5pm. The crew got there on time and started to work right away. They were professional, courteous and proficient. There was no guessing to what they had to. They were good I say better than good. By 2:30pm they had both systems up and running and the work area clean and spotless. Not only that, I asked if they would connect my phone to both thermostat and with out hesitation they did it. "This company is top notch. They did a two system retrofit in my home with 5 ton and 3 ton communicating Amana products. It started off with Wes the owner coming on a Saturday to have a look at the job and his recommendations and price. He really seemed like he knew what he was doing and was knowledgeable. Well it turned out to be true. The proposal was fair and he had the best price by far for this type of system. Then the actual install took place. The installers were prompt and the install was very clean looking. They were very careful in my house as they had to get one of the air handlers out and into the attic space on the second floor. When they were finished you wouldn't even know they were there, they left the place so clean. They showed me the work they had done and explained the thermostat settings to me. Overall I am 100% satisfied. Would highly recommend the Amana products and Wesley Whitson. The air conditioning itself is amazing as well. Quiet and comfortable."
