"They were lengthening my Driveway. They had done the driveway 4 years ago and had done a very good job. I rehired then to extend the driveway. In the process the machines they used damage the old Driveway. They did not tell my wife who was at home or contacted me to tell me. This upset me more than the damage did. I had to text him/ email email him. He did say he would repair and seal coat the driveway. He has partially repaired the driveway, they missed one spot. He is to return in week or two and seal the Driveway. If the damage had not happen I would have given 5 stars"

"Wowza. That's what sums up my experience with Marc Michaud of Maine Coast Masonry. From start to finish, Marc was the consummate professional as well as just an overall super genuine person. I had Marc completely rebuild two entranceways to my home, as the stairs were extremely outdated. He took out the old concrete slabs and replaced them with beautiful stonework. One of the things I like best about Marc is that he's an authentic mason. Marc does things old school. He comes from a long line of masons and knows how do construct and fabricate using methodologies that work and last. I'm already looking at additional projects I want to hire him to do! He's that good."

All their work is guaranteed as well, which is reassuring. They were clean, efficient and courteous. "The reason why we did not give 5 stars for this project: 1. The project materials deposited on our neighbors backyard. It took a long time to get someone from the company to come to move it to our lot. Still, he left some of it and we had to move it ourselves. 2. Despite our requests to start the noisy work at 8AM the work always started at 7:30AM. 3. The brick part of the porch was supposed to be pointed the project manager asked us to agree to remove the low brick wall and wanted to charge us $8K for it while pointing is more work intensive than removing the bricks. At the end he lowered the price but did not do the pointing on the remainder of the bricks that left in the supporting columns. We had to hire someone to do it and it cost us extra $950. 4. When the trash container removed from our backyard, we left with a lot of debris and again we needed to clean it ourselves."
