Small jobs welcome
"Tim designed and built a beautiful stone retaining wall, then lined the driveway with Belgian block and filled in the landscaping. It is far more beautiful than I imagined. Tim shows up promptly and is easy to work with. I highly recommend him."

"I would recommend them to anyone who needs masonry work done. They did a good job of grinding out the mortar and replacing a brick on my front steps. However, the job also included grouting around the top step where the concrete meets the siding and on the last step where it meets the sidewalk. They used white grout, which stood out like a sore thumb, and was too wide and very gloppy. When I told them about it, they said they would wash the steps down one day and come back the next, take the white out at the bottom and replace it with gray. But they did the washing and the grouted over the top of the white. Now, the gray grout was 1 1/2 inches wide in places. Looked terrible, and the white just looked worse and worse. Called again. They came out and took out the gray and white and put a clear grout. Looked better, so I asked them, to take out the white and put clear on the top step. They did, and it looks better than the white, but they should have done that in the first place. While the young men seemed to know masonry work, they definitely were not good at grouting. The steps look old now, from so much grinding, grouting, and work, and the top pad was just replaced 2 or 3 years ago. It looks much older. But I must say, they did come back and re-do when I was not happy. Just wish they had done it right the first time. Plus, I forgot to tell them, that they put their tools on my grass on those 90+ degree days. The front lawn has come back, but on the side, I have a patch where they killed all my grass. I think it must have been part of the coiled-up hose because there is a line from it to my hose and that was the day they washed my steps off."

"I hired Augusto & Sons to clear out my existing gardens, construct roughly 8" high stone retaining walls around them, and back-fill the gardens with river rock. Additionally, they demolished and removed my old concrete sidewalk and replaced it with a winding stone paver walkway. Kevin was my contact throughout the whole process which took about a full work week to complete. This work was done in late February so weather was a big factor in timing for this project. Kevin was quick to make decisions and kept me updated anytime he needed to do something that wasn't strictly what we had talked about at our first consultation. I told him what I wanted things to look like and he knew exactly what had to be done to make that happen. His original estimate came in right on point with the final invoice and I couldn't be happier with the result. The individuals that actually performed the work were quick, organized, and kept my front yard looking clean at all times which was very important to me and my homeowner's association. For there work, Augusto & Sons get 5 stars from me. Yes, as mentioned in some of their other reviews, a few of the workers did not speak English but that did not present any problems for me or my project because Kevin was on top of it at all times and communicated with the workers for me. An interesting final note: I asked Kevin to construct the new walkway with a "large gradual curve but not wavy". I mentioned to him that I would give him creative liberties with how he chose to layout the shape of the new walkway. Just as I noticed they were starting the construction of this walkway I had second thoughts and decided to make a quick sketch of how I wanted it to look. Well my sketch and what Kevin had already laid out were almost identical. So much is to be said about his ability to recognize what his clients want and what he thinks look nice. All-in-all I would absolutely hire Augusto & Sons again and am planning to have them come back to re-do my back patio in the future."

"We decided to commit with East Coast Patios after seeing their work at a good friends home. Our friends only have the best contractors for their home improvements. We were able to choose any texture, color and shape of the pavers displayed in the catalogue at the same price. The cost of the entire project was competitive and included managing any obstacles such as moving sprinkler heads and underground down spout extensions. The cold weather conditions did not matter as Juan and Gregorio stayed on schedule to recreate our front porch and lay down the path to our newly erected trash/recycling storage shed. We have a durable and attractive front door patio, a path with garden border and bin storage that adds curb appeal and utility to our home."
