"Friendly, straightforward contractor. He repaired cracks, gaps, and loose stones in the foundation. Nice aesthetics too, looks great."

"All aspects of the job went as well as it possibly could. The carpenter patched the roof so one couldn’t even tell a chimney had ever been there. The large metal chimney was removed without incident. The gas fireplace insert needed to be cut out so as to preserve the brick encasing the fireplace and the wood mantel. Jim then expertly installed the electric fireplace, doing a beautiful job both solidly securing the new fireplace and making sure the presentation of the fireplace was perfect! It was a pleasure to see someone take meticulous care throughout the entire job, which included thoroughly cleaning up afterwards."

"I met with Gary in October to discuss adding a granite cap to my outdoor fire pit. The original fire pit stone and mortar had deteriorated. Gary was able to work with a stone quarry and have them create a round sold granite cap to go over the existing stone. The granite was delivered and placed on top of the pit today as he had to drive a truck across my lawn and we wanted to be sure the ground was frozen. He will return in the spring to finish the work by applying mortar under the granite and he will also do some stone wall repair at that time. While this project has been long and slow, Gary always quickly responded to my text and phone messages. The cost was more than I would like, but material costs are very high everywhere right now. I will definitely work with Gary again."

"Very happy with parkway masonry and construction we had troubles with water seeping into our basement they got the issue resolved great team of guys"

"JJ Sousa is my trusted mason for any all indoor/outdoor work. They can do so much more than just masonry as well! Recently they came up with a great design for a 40â granite outdoor staircase and a large outdoor patio with natural earth stones. They also solved a lot of drainage/flooding issues I was having! I highly recommend them for your next job. They go above and beyond for their customers!"

"Needed a cleaning. Great price! The guys were friendly and so knowledgeable. They got the job done in good timing! I’m having them come back to repair and repoint bricks ! Definitely Recommend ! Thank you Handy Andy!"

"John and his one man crew did a great job on our project. He was on-time, professional, and respectful. Although the job was relatively small, it was labor-intensive, and they managed it without any problems. When they realized that additional decorative stones were needed, they promptly returned to the store and completed the task later that day, which we greatly appreciated. While communication wasn’t always as prompt as we had hoped, once the work began, John was committed to getting the job done right. Overall, we are very satisfied with the results and highly recommend John for any of your landscaping needs."
