Get matched with top masons in Gilson, IL

"I am suitably impressed with the service I received. My home is 130 years old so the mortar used for the pointing needed to be correct for the age of my brick foundation. Mr. Chambers was knowledgeable and knew exactly what was required. He was always prompt and kept the work site clean and organized. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. The cost was fair and reasonable. I am very happy and suitably impressed."

"Personable employees, completed the job quickly (repair chimney exterior, required removing and replacing damaged bricks, repointing, installing flashing). Good communications with office team arranging the work and rescheduling due to weather issues."

"Customer service was wonderful! The crew was prompt and courteous, and I feel they went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased with our project. They removed old brick edging and a ton of lava rock. They then graded sections that needed it, and installed a new brick edge beautifully, followed by sheeting and new rock. Highly recommend!!"

"Brian and I discussed what was needed to seal my basement prior to remodeling. I also asked him about some seepage I was getting between some bricks which are underneath the front steps. When he said they did concrete, too, I asked him about repairing a part of my front walkway where the concrete had separated from the house and from the concrete steps. This was as important as the sealing, since bees have been finding their way into a nest somewhere underneath the separation between the walkway and the steps for years. I once had them exterminated but they came back. Brian estimated $1,100 based on an Angie's List discount that he gave automatically, since I told him I found him through Angie's List.

I had one other estimate that was lower but didn't include the concrete work. After reading the Angie's List reviews and meeting Brian for myself I decided he was someone I wanted to do business with and scheduled the work for 4/16/2012. That was about a week after I called them to ask them to do the work.

I had the day off so was able to watch the whole process. Brian showed up first to go over what was expected, again. It had rained hard the night before and he and I agreed that part of my seepage problem was coming from overflowing gutters, not the concrete separations. This agreed with what the guy who gave me the other estimate said. I still needed the concrete done, though, because of the bees.

As his crew showed up they got right to work. They were all polite and friendly and all spoke good english so I was able to communicate with them easily. Before he left, Brian asked one of the guys to get the ladder out of my garage and clean the gutters for me. Since I'm partially handicapped I certainly appreciated that extra service.

Andy did the sealing, and when I expressed an interest in the process he made a point of calling me down into the basement when he started each phase. I was able to see the polyurethane sealant work its way up the ports and eventually find its way from the inside where he was working to the outside part of the crack. Everything happened just like he said it would. He told me how to cut the tips off the injection ports the next day and left some vinyl gloves with a warning not to touch the sealant because of how sticky it is.

The guys doing the concrete work had a miserable day. It looked like rain all day but they decided it wasn't going to and they were right. Just cold and very windy. They covered the newly poured concrete with a tarp just in case to let it dry overnight.

Everyone on the crew was professional and did a good job of cleaning up. When they needed to come in the house they took their shoes off until they got down to the basement.

The next day my wife got home first and saw that the tarp and the concrete forms were gone and the whole area around the walkway had been cleaned up. She thought the walkway looked great and was very happy about destroying the bee's entrance into our house. One of our neighbors stopped by as she was inspecting the work and he thought it looked great, too, with just the right slope away from the house to carry the water away. When my wife told him how much we paid he was very impressed.

So, Crawlspace Solutions made me look good and I'd recommend them to anybody."

"cut out bad bricks in 10 foot exposed chimney, replaced and did tuck point on chimney. Poured concrete cap on chimney, waterproofed chimney. Extremely knowledgeable in their craft. NOT a fly by night operation. Cody and Colton are the bros. and their customer service is outstanding! Trust in these guys and their specific warranty papers and products they use are second to none in their industry. Their skills and work ethic is methodical and that of dire perfectionists. They matched my other brick and the repair is like it never happened. They stayed in touch over the different days performing the repair, explaining their every move and how the repair would take place. Eased my questions with full explanations. I was a victim of poor repair before, so they new my problems showed what needed to happen to repair years of experience under their belts, I was at ease with the Bros. handling the repair. They do chimney cleaning, tuck point and flatwork, chimney cap repair and waterproofing, also do basement brick repair and leak damage. Bonded and insured, They are Artists, in the lost art of brick and chimney work. My roof is only 6 yrs. old and they took all precautions to insure integrity of my newer roof.
