"I had three different chimney companies come out for estimates, including Bricks. Bricks was the only one that bothered to actually thoroughly inspect my two fireplaces and wide chimney, discovering that one of my dampers was broken and more. The whole chimney needed to be stuccoed because the veneer stone on it was falling apart, and previous owners had covered a lot of it (foolishly) in roof tar. Bricks was the only company that thoroughly explained everything wrong, without using scare tactics. They were nice and patient, and I’m confident if anything goes wrong with the repair, they’d come out to fix it. It was a pricey job, but doing things right is often pricey. Worth it, though."

"Everyone we worked with at Greenstone - Mark Sr, Mark Jr, Laura and the crews - were just terrific in every way. We got a fast response and visit from Mark Sr for a quote. He knew exactly what we wanted and they completely redid our flagstone front walk - over 12 years old and now looks brand new - and built a new brick landing with a beautiful bluestone landing top and 2 steps. It could not have turned out any better! Mark Jr was able to find bricks to match our 27 year old home after I gave him the brick name we ordered way back when. It looks like the new landing / steps came with the house. The workmanship and attention to detail by the crews was amazing, precise and exacting. "The replacement of my retaining wall project went very well. I had a wood retaining wall removed and a stone wall built in its place with new landscaping above it. I could tell from the start, this was a very experienced, knowledgeable, and organized company. From initial conversations with Cody, to direct contact with the owner Pierce, to the mason expert Curtis, and detail oriented worker John, they completely made me feel at ease throughout the whole process. Project kicked off earlier than expected and finished a day sooner. I absolutely love the results of my new retaining wall!"

"The coordination between the Driveway Lady and her partner/husband was not good. It felt like she was making promises and he was trying to cut corners. He tried to skimp on landscape fabric and on rolling (compacting) the stone until I insisted otherwise. I discovered after they left that his men had dumped about a ton of our old gravel base in the arborvitae bushes that line the far end of our long driveway. They also spread the stone unevenly, so that now, just a month later, weeds are coming up in some spots. While I personally like these people, I would not recommend them."
