"I interviewed 4 companies for leaking parapet repair on my garage. Mario and Andy were always very communicative and quick to respond when I asked questions. They started (and finished) the entire job on the schedule they proposed. The work is excellent. This job created a lot of dust and debris and they did a nice job of cleaning up every day. I'm am very glad I chose Touchstone. I have some other brick work that needs to be done on our main home and will almost certainly use Touchstone. "Well enough. There were some scheduling delays but nothing unusual. The quality of the workmanship on the tuckpointing seems good enough. The repairs were completed on time and within the agreed upon scope. The issue I have is the minor damage to a second floor coax cable line as it was torn from its anchors on the exterior brick. The workers did not seem to notice this, and it was left dangling off the front of the house, torn from the port. There was also a fair amount of mortar mix splatter on my fence, and a neighboring fence that I ended up cleaning myself. So the attention to detail and cleanup was not to my liking. They did clear my flat roof of leaf debris as I requested, which was really helpful."

"Scott was wonderful from start to finish. He came out and provided an estimate and was ready to start once we gave him the green light. He handled all correspondence with the Village of Frankfort to obtain the work permit and shared every step of the process. He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to explain the reason for the split from the brick work and drywall. Upon one visual inspection, he was able to determine the materials that would match. While I was nervous about the possibility of the materials not matching, honestly... you cannot tell the rework was not included in the original build. He and his team did a beautiful job with the reconstruction! Greatly appreciated!"

"Can't say enough good things about our experience with AAA-1 Masonry & Tuckpointing. We had two holding walls with brick that was deteriorating. They power washed to identify which bricks needed to be removed and swapped out those bricks with new ones. In addition they replaced the capstones on the two walls with larger capstones to provide the walls more protection from the elements. Everything was sealed and completed flawlessly. The crew was experienced and professional. Since the work was done this summer, our walls don't even get wet from rain! We are so grateful for the expert repair but also the guidance that replacing the capstones would provide more of a long term solution. Highly recommend these guys for your masonry needs."

Mike's crew replace three bricks in the outside wall of our 80+ year old Chicago bungalow to close up the hole left by a dryer vent we removed. "83 masonry Reviewed my initial concern about areas of my home where the mortar was crumbling and falling out. It turned out that rusted lintels were no longer properly supported the brick around garden level windows and cracks were more extensive than I had initially detected. By their expert discerning of the underlying problem they provided a solution of new lintels with drainage to prevent it from happening again. They arrived early the day of the job, the owner was on site entire time participating in the work and provided insights throughout the repair about what was happening. They also supplied before and after photos, and left the work site spotless. Patient, detailed and knowledgeable. Great experience."
