I had a fair amount of spot pointing to be done to my 100 year old home, as well as, cement repair and a steel lintel installed above a bathroom window. Bob was great at balancing the time spent on the different sections of the house. For example, the back of my garage wall had some pretty bad spots, but my concern was not with perfection of the look, just keeping water out and the cost down, while the re pointing he did above the windows and in the brick work facing the street he spent more time on to blend in with the preexisting brick and it looks fantastic. "I had three different chimney companies come out for estimates, including Bricks. Bricks was the only one that bothered to actually thoroughly inspect my two fireplaces and wide chimney, discovering that one of my dampers was broken and more. The whole chimney needed to be stuccoed because the veneer stone on it was falling apart, and previous owners had covered a lot of it (foolishly) in roof tar. Bricks was the only company that thoroughly explained everything wrong, without using scare tactics. They were nice and patient, and I’m confident if anything goes wrong with the repair, they’d come out to fix it. It was a pricey job, but doing things right is often pricey. Worth it, though."

"John and his team did fantastic work on this project! There were 2 major aspects of my exterior restoration project. First was to remove failing stucco off the brick front face. This uncovered damaged headers that needed to be replaced, along with some brick work that needed to be restored. Second phase was to restore the bricks, replace the broken headers, and repoint. John's team lovingly restored the original 1920's bricks (even going out to Harrisburg to find matching bricks!), beautifully refinished the base beside the sidewalk, and installed a dryer vent. Everyone on the team was very communicative throughout the entire process, and left me with a lovely restored Philly row home! I would not hesitate to recommend Keystone Brick & Stucco for your exterior masonry needs."
